-Reader POV-

The morning sun wasn't even risen and you found yourself standing outside in the warm weather, lined up with the other cadets of the 104th Cadet Corps. Keith was standing before the company, as intimidating as ever, eyeing the multitude of individuals to make his victim.

"This is officially your first day serving in the military. Whatever you were doing back at home regularly, forget about it because you are strictly under my command and my care. For three years, I will emotionally, mentally, and physically break all of you down and produce the finest bait that I can offer to the titans. If you cannot handle it, then move on, we don't need the weak holding us down." Keith's eyes scanned through the crowd, almost as if he was trying to look for a specific person. His eyes landed on yours and he kept a sharp stare.

"(L/N), front and center! And move yourself cadet or I'll make you run until sunset!" Despite the eyes on you, you stepped out of line and quickly made your way to the front, standing at ease a few feet away from Keith.

"Truth be told, you cadets bore me. I've seen behaviors similar to yours and it leaves me very unimpressed, including you Ackerman. But for Miss (L/N), she's already become a star soldier in my eyes..." Someone seemed to take offense to Keith's words because they spoke up out of annoyance and jealousy.

"But sir, she hasn't even done anything yet! All we know, she could do terribly and be useless!"

"I'd say her skills are equal to Ackerman. Maybe she has more spirit than Yeager. She could just as easily be smart as Arlert. In terms, I'd call her a better soldier than anyone and it is a known fact that she'll destroy you useless brain rots without hesitation. Despite her height, I believe she could do some serious damage."

As Keith spoke, you couldn't help but be a little worried. While he was praising you, he was degrading everyone else; giving all the publicity to you despite no one knowing if you were going to do amazing or terrible. He was sizing up others for you with a clear intention.

He wanted to give you competitive enemies.

"That being said... YEAGER!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Come and show (Y/N) what you're made of! If you dare lose, I'll make you do push-ups until you can't feel your arms!"

A dark-haired medium-height guy marched up to the front, staring down at you with an uneasy look. You were shorter than him and he must've had a few more pounds on you but damn if you sure didn't look intimidating.

"Don't hesitate, (L/N). Your enemies won't."

(Idk how to write fight scenes. :/ )

You nodded and got into a boxing stance, already knowing the outcome of the situation. The guy "Yeager," didn't seem to have much fighting experience or strength so this would be over quicker than expected.

"C'mon, you got this Eren, don't let her height fool you! You can do it!" A blonde-hair boy yelled at his friend, cheering him on.

'That blonde mop! He just had to bring up my height!'

Eren rushed towards you, ready to strike. You managed to side step from his grasp, kicking his shin and causing him to fall on the ground with a shout of pain.

"Is that all you've got, Yeager! That weakness will get you nowhere! Rough the (L/N) girl up!" You didn't give a second thought to Shadis words, not a single ounce of hesitation in your actions.

While you were momentarily distracted by Keith's yelling, Eren got up from the ground and rushed towards you, throwing a sloppy hook. You managed to dodge his attack and grab his arm, using the force and weight of his body to flip him over your shoulder, pinning him to the ground.
