-Third POV-
Heavy feet rapidly thudded against the ground at a controlled pace, sending vibrations through the flat land and scaring off any wild or unwanted animals. An unnerving 15-meter titan blurred past the scenery of Paradis, having only one objective in mind. Though as threatening they may come, this titan was different. Its body was built athletically, similar to a human, and had no hair on top of its head. The head and neck of the titan were covered by what appeared to be a second layer of skin shaped like a cowl that layered the Titan's ears and much of its face; only its eyes, mouth, and jaw were exposed through a segmented mesh of skin. The skin of the titan was much like a very apparent white. Its arms were protectively crossed in front of its chest, almost as if it was trying to hide something it was holding. It was a titan that no one had ever seen.
It was a titan that was going to change this world.

"(Y/N) (L/N) from Shiganshina district, sir!"
"Give a reason as to why an idiot such as you decided to throw your life away..."
"To free mankind from its chains and defeat our enemies, sir! I also made a promise to my mother that I was going to protect her."
Keith narrows his brows in interest, staring down at the young girl as confidence and determination burned like a candle in her eyes. She knew of things that not many people did and that's what made her so dangerous. She was going to be someone that changed the world.
"A child protecting their mother, huh? Is she the only person you have left?"
"Yes sir. My father was a soldier and he died in battle."
Keith's face darkens as he leans down to glare into the girl's eyes, quite surprised at how well she kept herself composed. It was almost as if she had been through heavy scrutiny such as this.
"Seems like the (L/N) bloodline will be coming to an end soon. You're as good as dead if you dare even think about joining the Survey Corps. Maybe the Garrison would suit you well. Congratulations young (Y/N), you have officially made my shit-list. I'll make it three times as hard for you and then we'll see if you break then." Keith roughly pounds his fist against where her heart was located before walking off, immediately getting on another terrified cadet.
(Y/N) let out the soft breath she was holding, eyes cast forward to avoid the stare of some curious kids. Though she seemed unbothered, her heart was hammering in her chest; the nervousness eating away at her stomach.
As of now, she was going to prepare herself for these three years of hell and keep her devoted promise for her mother's sake.
After about two more hours of Shadis yelling at the new arrivals, a female higher-up took the girls while a male took the boys, leading them along the campus to assign them to dorms. There were eight girls put into each cabin and were ordered as bunkmates, much to many dismay.
"For this dorm, can I have... Mikasa Ackerman?"
An Asian girl with pale skin and dark long hair stepped forward, her aura immediately giving off badass, unbothered energy. She was just about a head taller than (Y/N), as was most of the girls.
