"Hey Cathy," said Natalie. "Hey Nat," Catherine replied. They talked for a long time because they were best friends. Then came the 4th grade incident. They were dissecting frogs with sharp tools, but Natalie wasn't a master. Then, Natalie accidentally did something unforgivable. She accidentally took the sharp tool and accidentally hit Catherine's arm. "Ow!" Said Catherine. "Oh my god! I am so sorry!" Said Natalie. Catherine stormed at out the room with a sharp tool lodged in her arm. Natalie went chasing after her in the hall but she ran out of the building. Right after Natalie was about to leave the building, the teacher budded through. "Not a chance Natalie," said Mr. Pickens grabbing her arm. "But Mr. Pickens Catherine ran out there," said Natalie. "We'll find her, sit down," said Mr. Pickens. That night Natalie spent the whole night texting Catherine but she had already blocked her. Natalie was so upset and afraid that she lost her best friend, and she did.
The present:
Catherine looked Natalie fiercely down hall, Lina Roberts standing by her side. After Catherine and Natalie lost their friendship, Lina took the opportunity to be best friends with Cathy. And she did. Natalie has still spent the last 4 years regretting what happened, but she learned that she had to deal with change. But Natalie couldn't take it anymore, so she walked up to Catherine. As she was walking up, Lina glanced at her fiercely, as her best friend, it was her job to be Catherine's fierce protector. Natalie knew she needed to talk to Catherine so she tried to ignore Lina. "Hi," said Nat. Catherine didn't say a word and then walked away. Natalie was upset but it has been 4 years and she knew she had to get over it. But she felt it was too hard to for her and she had been trying to cut Catherine out of her life, and stop pining after their friendship. Of course, it has been 4 years since 4th grade and they are in 8th grade, their last year of middle school about to enter high school. And all Natalie could think is her goal to make up with Catherine before graduation. She sighed. Meanwhile, 8th grader Jordan Malley but signs all over the school inviting everyone to his party that night. So basically everyone in the school came. Including Catherine and Natalie. "Alright, truth or dare," said Jordan. "Let's start with you Catherine, who is your worst enemy?" Asked Jordan. Catherine's first thought was he rigged the game. Then she pointed to Natalie. "Okay, you have to date for 5 months," said Jordan. "I didn't even pick truth or dare?!" Said Catherine. "Too bad, you can go back when you say dare," said Ron. "I never said dare," said Catherine. Everyone yelled Boo until Catherine said, "okay okay!!" Catherine was upset but Natalie was interested...
