The next day at school, Catherine walked up to Natalie. "Look Nat, it has been wrong to ignore you for all these years," said Catherine. "Oh my god! Your talking to me! I am so sorry for all I have done," said Natalie. "It's okay, let's be best friends again," said Catherine. Then they skipped away in happiness. And that is what happened in Natalie's dream last night. But in reality, Catherine has still not talked to Natalie in years. Natalie sighed and went off to school. She spent the whole day thinking about her dream. And then at study hall, she did something she rarely did. She cried. And suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up hoping it was Catherine but it wasn't. It was Jordana, Natalie's best friend. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Yes," she said sniffling. "Why are you crying?" Asked Jordana. "Just imagining something that would never come true, Catherine forgiving me," Said Natalie. So Jordana instantly knew what to do as Natalie's bestie. She needed to confront Catherine. So she did just that. "Catherine Litherin!" Screamed Jordana across the hall. "Yes?" Said Catherine turning around. "I can't believe you won't forgive the sweetest person in the world!" Yelled Jordana. "What are you talking about?" Asked Catherine. "I mean Natalie Hinker you idiot!" Yelled Jordana. "I am not talking about this," said Catherine. "You don't have a choice princess," said Jordana angrily. Then Jordana pushed Catherine against the locker. Natalie came running towards her. "You idiot, I said I wanted her to forgive me not hate me!" Yelled Natalie. "Sorry," said Jordana walking away. "Are you okay?" Natalie asked Catherine. Catherine didn't say anything, just got up and walked away. A week later, Jordana confronted Catherine again, just a little less violent this time. "Let's keep this civil," said Jordana. "Why are you ignoring my best friend, is it because of the frog incident?" Asked Jordana. "She thinks that, but that's not why," said Catherine. "Than why?" Asked Jordana. "It's because after she accidentally stuck the tool in my arm, she said I'm so sorry, and I know that sounds apologetic, but she has said that so many times and it doesn't matter to her. So that's why I can't trust her to be my friend," said Catherine. "Wow, I never knew that. I think it would be nice if you told her that, it would give her some clarity," said Jordana. I don't know," said Catherine. "Did you two get a challenge to date for 5 months?" Asked Jordana. "Oh Frick, I forgot about that," said Catherine. "I would talk to her," said Jordana. "Okay, maybe I will," Catherine said.
