Wooyoung gently placed the last of his books into a box. His room looked so strange now, with only his bed and bare desk remaining. Mingi, Yeosang and San had been taking all his belongings to his new home.
San's home.
Considering San's parents weren't home almost all the time, and Minho was finally staying with Taemin more, the couple would essentially have the whole mansion to themselves. Excluding Mingi that is, who was currently in a legal battle over his old house that was sold without his permission and turned into a crappy haunted house attraction.
They were engaged now, it made sense for them to move in together.
A warmth radiated from Wooyoung's heart as he stared at his engagement ring.
Every time he caught so much as a glimpse of his ring he remembered all over again how much he loved San, and how much San loved him. This elated feeling had bought sunshine to Wooyoung's life for months, and finding San finally made Wooyoung's life feel complete.
"Wooyoungie, you about ready to go?" San asked, opening the door slowly. It was always strange to see him in normal clothes, the usually eccentric vampire wearing a pair of cargo shorts and a black tee. Reaching out and wrapping his arms around San's neck, Wooyoung kissed his fiancé gently before staring right into his eyes.
"Definitely. Can we get pets? Pretty please?" Wooyoung didn't even flinch when San picked him up, carrying him bridal style down the stairs.
San kissed Wooyoung's nose. "If that's what you want, we can get all the pets you'd like."
Wooyoung gently indicated for San to put him down, walking to the kitchen. "I'll be out in a second, ok?" San nodded, walking off as Wooyoung went to the kitchen. His parents were waiting patiently for his goodbye, smiling sadly.
"Are you sure you're ready to move out?" Byeol asked, opening her arms to hug Wooyoung. He nodded quietly, causing her to sigh. "If you're able you have to call us every night, got it?"
"Of course Mum. Try keep Hwa out of trouble for me." Byeol chuckled softly, nodding and kissing Wooyoung's forehead.
"He hasn't even really been home recently anyway." Donghyun scoffed, rolling his eyes. It was true though, Seonghwa had been strangely absent most days since school ended.
Mainly because he'd been annoying poor Yeosang with all of his free time.
It was a wonder the vampire hadn't just killed him yet.
Wooyoung turned to hug his father next. "I know, but he's still family. And we both know how impulsive he can be." Wooyoung sighed, remembering the time Seonghwa jumped from a high fence because he thought it would be fun... he broke his arm.
"Angel! It's time to go!" San yelled from outside, forming a small knot in Wooyoung's chest. He knew he was ready to start his life with San, he'd been ready since the moment he remembered their past. The problem now was leaving.
He'd really miss his parents.
"I love you two." Wooyoung started walking away, before yelling over his shoulder. "Just make sure not to let Mum cook!" He giggled, hearing his Mother's indignant grumbling as he met San outside.
"Ready to go?" San held a hand out to Wooyoung. Even though it'd been months, San always asked. If he wanted to hold Wooyoung's hand, if he wanted a kiss. He always made sure Wooyoung wanted it. And even though Wooyoung didn't quite understand why, he couldn't say he hated it.
It just meant that San cared.
"Of course, silly." Wooyoung entwined their fingers. San teleported them to the house, disorienting Wooyoung slightly. Teleporting was still, and likely always would be, slightly strange to him. "Now, to business."
