Stolen ~ A LadyNoir and Adrinette Story

Chapter 5

Authors Note: Sorry for the short chapter!! My acting team got to State and just finished. We have been practicing non-stop for weeks. Feels good to get it over with. I'll be updating often now. Thank you everyone for being so understanding <3

Ladybug landed on the ledge next to Cat Noir and sat down. The 2 always met up at that spot. It had become 'their thing' It was a beautiful view of the Effiel Tower and Cat Noir was always fascinated by it when it was all lit up at night. He reminded Ladybug of a 5-year-old tourist. Mesmerized by everything they see, as if Cat Noir had been cooped up in his house and never saw the beauty of the outside world.  

"Hey, bugaboo." He said, not getting a response. He turned his head to look at her, "What's wrong?"  

Ladybug was deep in thought. "That boy," she thought, "why is he so familiar?"  

"Let me see your ring." she blurted out, turning to her partner. 

Cat Noir moved his head back a bit, shoulders rising, and looked her up and down. She rolled her eyes.

"I'm not akumitized! I just need to get a quick look at it." She explained and moved her eyes back down to the ring. "You don't even have to take it off, just hold it up like this."

Ladybug held up her hand so that her palm was facing her as if giving Cat Noir a backward high five. 

Cat Noir hesitated for a moment more before holding up his hand, exposing his ring. 

Ladybug leaned forward to get a better view. It was black and the paws of it were green. The ring Cat Noir had on was completely different than the one the boy was wearing but had transforming changed that. She knew she shouldn't be trying to find out Cat Noir's identity but something about that boy didn't sit right with her. She needed to know more, she needed Cat Noir to take off his Miraculous. 

"Do you trust me?" She asked 

"Always and forever." He smiled. She let out a weak smile before looking right into his eyes. 

Ladybug pursed her lips "I'm going to need you to take off your ring."

Cat's eyes went wide, "M'lady, what about the whole-" he tried to inmate her voice as he did with the Lucky Charm "We can't reveal our identities to each other. We are superheroes Cat Noir...we don't have a ch- OW!" 

Ladybug smiled in satisfaction as she hit him in the head with her Yo-Yo. His impressions of her were really bad.  

"Well, obviously there would be a wall between us. I just need to see the ring on its own, without it being activated." 

Cat Noir nodded. He trusted Ladybug.

The 2 Superheros stood up and jumped over to a roof where a wall stood. It reminded her of when she had to give Kagami her Miraculous the 2nd time. She was so close to de-transforming and needing to feed Tikki. She was selfish that day, choosing Kagami to fight. Of course, she did amazing but Ladybug saw her with Adrien and got jealous. That was not one of Ladybug's proudest moments. 

"Okay, so when you de-transform just put your Miraculous right there so I can see it. You can keep it in your palm if you want, I just need to see it." Ladybug pointed out  

Cat Noir walked behind the wall and said quietly, "Claws in." 

Plagg flew out and around him, not even bothering to say hello.

"Camembert, Camembert. Where is the Camembert?" 

"Hey M'lady, what if I just stepped out right now?" Adrien asked, "Then we wouldn't have to hide our identities. No one needs to know that we know each other's true selves!"
