What is going on you may ask? Well, I guess I'll start from the beginning of my life.

My name is Ashlynn. I have brown flowy hair that runs slightly past my shoulders. I was born with heterochromia iridium which is very odd and rare, I have one grey eye and the other is emerald green.

Now I guess you could say I have always been on the bigger side of girls. I always try to look at life in a positive way because the way a child sees the world is not the same as when they grow up.

I had always thought life was great until one day out of the blue when I was 7 my mother had tried to stand up for herself and me but of course, my dad did not like that.... Then she was just gone.

My dad had said that she ran away but when I saw him and looked in his eyes he could never meet mine which tells me that there was something else going on.

Now let's take a look at my father and then you'll find out why he is not the best person in the world, like how I have learned.

Every day I woke up and had to do all the chores then prep his food for when I was at school. When I got home from school I would have to start making us both dinner, he would always get more than a portion and he would only allow me to have half of one because he thought I was too big.

How am I big you ask? Well, I sneak in the kitchen at night and get food or I'll end up starving. If he caught me doing this at night I would get punished.

You may be telling me well that's not too bad you shouldn't sneak food anyways, but the thing is you don't know what it's like to starve and then get daily bruises and cuts. He was and always will be abusive.

Okay now, let's talk about something on a positive note. Alicia or as I call her Ali comes in.

She has saved me from a lot in my life mentally, without her I would have killed myself after my mom died. Her mom used to live by my parents' house when we were born. So our parents thought it would be a good idea to have a friend as a kid and that's the only thing I am thankful my dad did for me. We are closer than two peas in a pod. I guess you could say she is my soulmate friend.
