Dark Hidden Secrets

Chapter 5

 After that intense moment, they heard a quiet.*click* and looked up and searched where that sound could have came from and saw it was the door to the cabin. 

"Um...What was that?" Axel whispered. They look at him petrified. Ali pointed at Ashlynn and then the door. "You do it, go check it out." 

"um..okay I guess i'll go look." Ashlynn got up and turned the knob to the door and gasped a little bit in shock. 

"Whats wrong?" asked Axel. She turned around and looked at both of them with a small smile on her face like she was trying to act like nothing was wrong. "Well go on tell us!" Ali shouted.

 Ashlynn then opened her mouth and quietly said "I think the door is locked from the outside?" Ali and Axel looked at each other puzzled. Ali got up and grabbed the door knob and aggressively shook it trying to get it to open. 

"Oh hell to the naw." Axel said "there's no way this is happening." The door was solid, not moving no matter what they tried to do. 

"So now what do we do?" Axel said still sitting on the ground slowly pulling up his pants to not disturb any of his wounds. "I guess we just sit in here and wait until we can find a way out?" 

"hell no, I'll make my way out!" Axel then took a chair surrounding the kitchen table and threw it at a window. It just bounced off the window and landed on the ground. Axel took a second, then looked up closely at the window. "I use to work on cars in school and this is a bullet proof window, who the hell puts those in old cabins?!" he was now mad and his face started to turn red. 

"Ok Axel calm down a little bit well figure something out." they sat down for a while just thinking of what they could do. "Well we need to savour our food and our drinks, we don't know how long we will be stuck in here for." they all nodded and agreed to try to save as much as they can.

It was a couple days later and they were starting to run out of food. "Ok I'm starving I don't know how much longer I can do this for," Axel whined. 

"I understand but we have no other choice," said Ashlynn. They tried to change Axel's bandage everyday but it was wasting too much water. Ashlynn looked very sad at her idea but she ended up saying "I know this isn't a good idea but the only way to make sure we have water for a little while longer is to not wash your cuts, instead we could just wipe it off, only if you're ok with it?"

 he replied "I guess I have no other choice, we need to in order to keep us from being deydrated." they nodded and instead of getting out the water to clean it Ashlynn just got a cloth. Watching as yellow puss came from his cuts. 

"This is going to hurt a lot more then before." she says simpaththticy. 

"give me your hand, i'm here for you." Ali said with a half smile on her face. 

"Ok, I'm ready, let's do this." Ashlynn started to wipe off the old blood and the puss, it made Axel screech in pain. "Oh dear god help me, why did I do this to myself!" Ashlynn and Ali were not happy but it was the only way they knew how to survive. 

"Ok it looks like i'm all done just give me the new ripped cloth and the plastic bag to put over it." Ali handed all that she needed to finish the job. When she was done they sat in a circle talking about how much longer they could survive.

At this point they had no more food and a little bit of water. "Will we just die here?" Axel asked, holding his leg in pain. 

"No we aren't going to die don't worry." Ali said nervously, not really knowing what's going to happen to them. They had nothing else to do but sit there and starve. 

While sitting there they started to hear some noises from around the cabin. "What was that?" asked Ali. the other two shrugged and they all huddled together because they had no where else to go. "If this is the end I want you to all know that I love you both." Ali said to them in a shaking voice. 

They all started to pray quietly putting their heads together. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and some girl yelling "Hello?! Is anyone there?" Ali screamed "we're locked in, can you help us out?" 

The lady yells back "We are going to try and help you don't worry!" The door made a clicking noise and it opened. 

Revealing a beautiful older looking lady who had her hair in a ponytail. There were 2 men standing behind her. The one didn't look too old and the other looked almost around her age.

 "Oh my heavens you all look sick! You can come with us and we can help you get food and water. We work in a hospital, you guys are in safe hands" they all smiled a little bit and then they tried to help Axel up because he could not walk from his infected sore. 

"Oh he can't walk?" The lady asked in almost hatetred. 

 Ali said "no his leg is badly infected and hurts him to get up." 

"oh don't you worry about him, Bryan will carry him back to the hospital and we will help him get better. You all look like you could use a nice big meal." she says with the fakest smile. 

Ashlynn and Ali both walked out to follow this nice lady, and Axel was carried by the guy who was supposedly named Bryan, behind them. They all were very happy to feel safe now, that someone has came to save them.
