"Awww noooo"

I say in sorrow. After hearing the new release of a little nightmares game, I just had to buy it when it came out and play it. I had just gotten to where the ending is, after playing as a admirable character who has helped who we know as Syx countless times, and also doing the hard parts in order to continue going, I had greatly enjoyed my experience playing, even though the world in the game is quite scary and disturbing. But only to find out this character, known as Mono, gets unnecessarily Betrayed by the person they saved and trusted.

I continue to watch the cut scene, letting out a gasp when the game reveals mono being the tall slim man who had taken Syx away and chased down mono previously

"I'm more shocked at the betrayal than the reveal.. how could Syx do that after everything they did? Did something happen to her while Mono tried saving her? It doesnt make sense.. but I'm guessing that's just her character.."

I let out a sigh.

"But still.. mono didnt deserve that.. just thinking about it, about how mono tried so hard, only to be in what I suspect a hellish loop that can only be broken if Syx doesnt betray him.. it makes me sad and a little upset..!"

If I was there, I would have made this story much different.. but, it's still a good game. I just wish for there to be a much better ending for poor little mono..

I continue messing around with the game, and playing it over again because why not? I cringed when I reached the betrayal part again and watch the sad cut scene again.

I was about to turn the game off when I reached back on the menu but then I saw a different option.

I dont think it's ever done anything like this, but I must have triggered something playing it again. Plus, who doesnt love there being more to a game you like?

I decide to click 'Yes'

But when I do the screen only turns black for a second and then exits out of the game, leaving me to see my desktop background.

"Wha?"

I try clicking on the game icon again only for it to say

'Error 687, file not here'

Oh come on, your gonna bait me like that? I try doing it a few times but come with the same results. I even turn my computer off and on and still see that error message.

"Ugh I'll deal with this in the morning"

I give up, looking at the time reading 1 am, I'm starting to feel sleepy so I'll just see if it works tomorrow so for now I'll get some rest.

I crawl into bed and turn off the lamp beside me, snuggling into my blanket, I close my eyes and finally drift into sleep.

Mmm... is that.. wind?...

I could have sworn I left the window closed..
