~Ava~
I open my eyes to the fading sunlight creeping in through my windows. As I start to stretch I turn on my phone, 10:00 pm. I have three missed text and one call from Destiny.
9:01- Hey we are going out tonight should I come over or do you want to come here to get ready
9:23- Wake up sleepy head it's time to parttty
9:58- I'm on my way to wake your ass up and throw you into something approachable, see you in ten
I roll my eyes as I fix up last nights makeup. I reapply mascara and throw on my grey high waisted corduroy pencil skit and a long sleeve black shirt. I look in the mirror and decide to straighten my long dark hair. As I begin to brush the tangles out Destiny burst in, "are you ready to party until we have to carry each-other home?" I concentrate on a knot the size of a golf ball trying to brush out a few strands at a time. "Here let me help so we can get going". Her patience is shorter than her skirt. As I reach for the straightener I leave the comb laying in the tangled mess on the right side of my head. As she straightens the side I finished combing out I work on the rest.
As she finishes up the last strand I reach for my purse and throw it over my shoulder. Luckily we don't have far to walk. As I flip off the lights I pull the door shut and prepare myself to be carried back drunk.***
As I enter the bar I feel an unsettling feeling as if I'm being watched. I look towards the bar and there he was, the most solid gorgeous man I had ever seen. He makes eye contact and the look in his eyes is all to familiar. We stare for what seemed like minutes but it must have been seconds.
