finally back home

Liam PoV

 today we got up very early, Rica forces us to get up early so that we can be quickly at the finish line, we were almost out of the woods until a familiar dragon crossed our path, she held Jacob in her arms

 Liam: Jacob !!! 

 Jacob: Liam, I'm so glad to see you again 

 we hugged and the dragon that Jacob had brought began to fly away 

 Jacob: Thanks for helping Tina 

 Tina: You're welcome Jacob, I hope to see you again someday 

 then he flew away and Rica and KAE and I had sunken jaws 

 Liam: What the hell was that? 

 Jacob: this? it's too long a story I'll tell you sometimes 

 after recovering from what we saw, we set out again on the way home 

 Timeskip 6 hours later 

 it was already evening and we were almost at home, we decided to spend the night here today, Jacob and I set up tents, Rica and KAE got some food and started a fire, we sat down by the fire and started eating caught food

Rica: So how long before we get to our destination 

 Liam: According to the map, we're very close, maybe we'll sleep in proper beds tomorrow

 Jacob: I'll be really happy ..... by the way Liam, where did you get these tree natives 

 Jacob pointed to Rica, Mira and KAE, 

 Liam: After that fall, all three saved my life 

 Jacob: I understand, but why they come with us

 Liam: I found out that their people are suffering from our general's attacks, when we return someone will have to explain something

 we talked for a while before we all went to bed 

 Jacob PoV 

 everyone went to bed except me because I was the first to patrol today, I sat down by the fire and waited for someone to replace me 

 * whistle *

 I heard some movement in the nearby bushes, I aimed my P9 at the bushes 

 Jacob: Who's there? 

 Diana jumped out of the bushes and pinned me to the ground in a strong embrace 

 Diana: You're alive, so you were able to run, God, I'm so glad you're alive 

 she held me in a really strong embrace and wagged her tail, she even licked the visor of my oxygen mask when she realized what she was doing she blushed deeply and let me go 

 Diana: ..... don't tell anyone this

I just nodded in agreement and she helped me up then we sat down by the fire together
