Chapter 2

Basic And Boring

Y/n Pierce

I was leaning against Genesis most of the train ride sleeping but I was woken up by Faith who thought it would be funny to splash a bit of water on my face. It wasn't funny.

"That's not funny Faith" They were both laughing at me

"You should've seen the look on your face, your so dramatic Y/n," Genesis let out trying her best not to laugh

I ignored them and carried on leaning on Genesis listening to her and Faith talk

"Do you think this year Cedric will ask me to the Yule Ball" Faith wanted to go with him last year but was crushed when she found out he had asked Cho Chang.

"I'm sure if you don't irritate him this year he'll probably ask you" Genesis was right, Faith was always around Cedric and wanting to know who he was with. She seemed like an overprotective mother.

We all sat in our compartment chatting about things waiting to get to Hogwarts. Soon enough we were there. This year we were taking the carriages to the school so we would be in groups of 5 or 4.

"Let's go, come on Y/n" Faith reached for mine and Genesis's hand and pulled us both off of the train.

"Hopefully we can get a carriage with just us 3," Genesis mumbled

"Hopefully, although I wouldn't mind Cedric bing with us" Faith laughed and forgot she was out of the compartment now and that we were on our way to the carriages outside.

"What about me?" Came a deep warming voice

"Cedric, " Faith jumped into his arms and hugged him tightly, they were good friends and I'm petty sure Cedric liked Faith too.

"How have you been Faith?" He put her down and kissed her on her forehead and smiled at me and Genesis.

"Good thanks, it's all been good" she would normally get awkward around him like a younger year's couple.

"That's good but I got to go now, I'll see you in school" He kissed her again on her forehead and then waved at all of us leaving.

We were walking towards the carriages and then we found an empty one. We all sat down and then waited to go.

"Can you wait? Merlin some people are so selfish " I instantly turned around to see the blonde bot climbing up onto the carriage

"What are you doing here Malfoy?" Genesis questioned him giving him a dirty look.

"Shut up it's just a carriage ride don't flatter yourselves" He coldly spat looking at me.

His eyes affected me in a way I wish they didn't. His cold grey sliver eyes were staring daggers at me although I somehow enjoyed it

"What?" I was confused as to why he was looking at me

"Didn't say anything, shut up and let me enjoy the 8 minutes before I get to school" he didn't bother looking at me anymore

The time had passed and we were back at Hogwarts, that had to have been the most awkward carriage ride ever.

We were all walking through the Great Hall, I saw Brady already sitting at the Slytherin table next to his friends, I sat at the end of the table with Genesis and Faith. We were listening to Dumbledores boring speech once again and then seeing all the new first years get sorted. Less and less people would get sort into Slytherin House each year ass almost like they were ashamed to put them in here.

To be honest my house had a lot of toxic people in, other than the main few of us who keep ourselves to ourselves and don't look for ways to annoy others.

"Oi Pierce" came an unwelcoming voice from across the table

I looked over and saw Pansy who was almost sitting on Draco's lap, she had a wide smirk on her face and then spoke again "My boyfriend was just telling me you were looking and talking to him on the train and the carriages"

She was shouting over to me who was across the table so I'm pretty sure everyone heard what she was saying. She was embarrassing me and I just wanted to go back to my dorm already.

"Well he talked to us first" Genesis shout back

"Why are you jealous that he'd rather talk to us instead of you?" Faith also commented

Pansy was clearly getting pissed off that we were taking back to her, I wanted to say something now.

"You say he's your boyfriend yet he was kissing a 4th-year earlier" I shrugged at her and then turn back to look at my food leaving her in complete shock

"We aren't dating Pansy, how many times do I have to fucking say it?" Clearly, the raven-haired girl had erupted the blonde since he stood up and stormed out of the Hall leaving the whole table in silence.

It was after the meal now and we had to all go back to our dorms, certain people in each house got their own dorm and I was one of them, Draco had gotten jealous in 2nd year and made his father buy him his own dorm.

𝔽𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕙𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜

It was my second year at Hogwarts and we were all walking around Draco's chosen tree.

"Draco guess what," I said to him, we were only 12 years old and all we thought about was the easy things in life. Now he's a bully.

"What is it Y/n?" his squeaky voice replied

"I have my own private dorm" I smugly smiled at him

Draco was always one to brag about anything really, once before he though it was a competition to see who can eat an apple the quickest, obviously he made me eat a green apple knowing I don't like them so he could win.

"How did you get a private dorm? I want one"

"Because I helped with something Malfoy"

I was happy it was making him angry about it he deserved someone to humble him.

"Well watch me get a private dorm too" he stormed away distressed.

𝔼𝕟𝕕 𝕆𝕗 𝔽𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕙𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜

When I got to my dorm it was all the same just as how I remembered it to be. I saw my trunk on my bed and decided to start unpacking. A few minutes late I heard a knock at the door

Who the bloody hell was that.

I walked over to my door and opened it to see Genesis and Faith bickering about something probably stupid

"She's so annoying I swear," Genesis said walking in making herself at home

Faith laughed as she walked in kissing my cheek "Don't listen to her she's lying to you Y/n"

I laughed and say down on my bed thinking about the fresh new year, I wanted to make a change to my name instead of just be known as the fake Slytherin. I didn't want to be basic and Boring this year.
