Handong was sitting on her reception desk.

She had an annoying client. Who kept requesting for an appointment with Sua. The slot was full for today.

Lily was busy with Sua in her office. Handong decided to handle it in a calm tone. She kept talking to the person.

The person from the other side kept yelling at her. She rolled her eyes and started playing with the pen on the desk.

She glanced at the company's entrance.

A familiar figure caught her attention. The figure entered without going through the security.

The girl was dressed in a black crop top, with white jeans. She had glasses on. Her white heels were echoing on the floor. Her black straight hair were making her look ethereal.

Handong's mouth was slightly open, she disconnected the client's call.

The girl walked towards the receptionist desk, folding her arms on the desk, she stared at Handong. "Did I manage to stop your heart?" The girl whispered with a smirk.

Handong shook her head, "You cannot enter without security checking." Handong whisper-yelled.

"Are you telling me to get checked by those filthy people?" She asked looking at the security guards outside, she paused and continued her sentence. "I would rather get checked by you." She winked looking at Handong.

She giggled at Handong's blank expression. She entered Handong's space by going around the table.

"Elkie!! Get out!! Sua will see us." Handong took a glance at others. As usual, they were staring at them.

"I like you. Let's go on a date. Please..." Elkie pouted and gently wrapped her hands around Handong's upper arm.

"I told you, I'm not ready for a relationship." Handong replied, carefully removing Elkie's arms.

Elkie and Handong worked together as lawyers.

Elkie had a boyfriend before she shifted at her new work place.

When she met Handong at the work place, she started talking to her on daily basis.

They started hanging out with each other. Elkie started feeling something for her.

To be fair with her boyfriend she broke up with him and decided to tell Handong everything, which included her feelings.

But Handong kept rejecting Elkie's request, to go on a date with her. She was in an intimate relationship with Siyeon.

She didn't know, if she was ready or not. She wasn't fully ready to be with someone.

"Let's go for a coffee then?" asked Elkie, hoping for a yes.

"I'm at work." Handong replied dryly.

Elkie's smile disappeared, she didn't say anything, she started going towards the exit, but Handong stopped her, by calling out her name.

"Wait for me outside. I will join you." She whispered looking at Elkie, who smiled brightly at Handong and nodded.

Elkie's mood change made Handong to roll her eyes in frustration.

•••••••

Sua picked up the call, which was ringing insanely.

"I'm busy." She answered dryly.

Her mom tried to continue the conversation from the other side but Sua disconnected the call.
