Flows pov
I was sitting at the lake crying.
Why did Daddy go suddenly and why was Mummy crying. What happened? And why didnt mummy let me say bye to him?
I then heard some rustling in the bushes.
"w... Who's there" my voice quivered
"it's just me. Are you alright?" a young boy stepped out from behind a tree.
"I'm fine" I said whipping my tears away.
"who are you I javnt seen you before?"
"oh umm... I don't live around here but I came because my dad has work in a town near bye so I went out exploring"
"oh"
"umm...im not meant to tell anyone my name so just call me Jack its my middle name"
"okay. Hi Jack. I don't have to hide my name I think. So my name is Flow"
"that's a lovely name"
"thank you"
The boy came and sat down next to me.
"can you tell me why you sad now?"
"I'm just confused"
"about what"
"my mummy was crying because Daddy had to go. But she didn't let me say goodbye or even see him."
"maby he had to work like my Dad did"
"Mabe"
"what does your Dad do?"
"he's a warrior"
"that's so cool. See he probably just had to go do some important work stuff"
"I hope your right"
"I'm always right Flow
