Eddie started crying tears of joy, he was so happy to see that Richie was ok.
"Hey Eds jeez it's not like I was gonna die or anything" laughed Richie.
"I know but I just can't imagine if you had died after how we left things I wouldn't be able to live with myself" said Eddie.
"I can't die im immortal duh" remarked Richie.
"Sureee" mocked Eddie.
A few days later...
Richie was out of the hospital, he hated having an injury but atleast some people signed his cast.
He had to walk with crutches which he hated.
Richie came into school on Monday with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Oh c'mon Rich it can't be that bad" said Bev.
"Ugh Bev no its horrible" said Richie rolling his eyes.
"Ok drama queen" laughed Bev.
"What happened to you Tozier?" Laughed Bowers.
"Fuck off Bowers" replied Richie.
"Ooooo" laughed Bowers and his gang.
"You're a way easier target now" remarked Bowers.
Eddie stormed up to Bowers.
"If you lay a hand on him you won't see the light of day again" threatened Eddie.
"Oh really" said Bowers. Bowers then punched Eddie right in the face. Eddie tried fighting back but Bill and Stan pulled him back. Eddie nose was dripping blood.
"LET ME GO!!" screamed Eddie.
"H-he's not worth your time" said Bill.
Eddie wiped his nose and walked off.
Richie followed him.
"Woah Eds I didn't think you had it in ya to stand up to Bowers.
"Anything for you" said Eddie.
Richie smiled. No girl could ever be as perfect as Eddie and no guy either he really was perfect.
Eddie then had to tell his mom about him and Richie.
"Hey mom..." said Eddie after school.
"Hi Eddie bear how was school?" Asked Mrs. Kaspbrak.
"It was ok" replied Eddie.
"Is something wrong?" Asked Mrs. Kaspbrak.
Eddie took a deep breath.
"Mom...I have a boyfriend..." muttered Eddie.
"You what?!?" Asked Mrs. Kaspbrak.
"Richie and I are dating" murmered Eddie.
"That Tozier boy, he is a terribke influence I can't accept this, you're just sick Eddie" cried Mrs. Kaspbrak.
"No mom I'm not" cried Eddie.
"I love Richie and there is nothing you can do about it, no therapy can make up for the fact that im gay and in love with my bestfriend, I always have been and I always will and if you can't accept me your own son then that's bullshit" screamed Eddie.
Mrs. Kaspbrak was taken aback.
She then slapped his across the face.
Eddie stood there in sock his own mother hit him.
Eddie ran up the stairs and came down 20 minutes later with his bags packed.
He didn't even say goodbye he just walked right out the front door.
"Eddie wait" cried his mom. He didn't look back. He was never going back there and that was final.
Sorry I have been inactive I have just been too lazy to write but I'm going to start writing again and I have up coming story ideas.
