After that conversation I had with Maxon I decided to unpack my baggages. Kasi wala na akong magagawa aside from unpacking my things kahit hindi ko gusto. I was in the middle of doing it when I heard a soft knock kaya napatigil ako sa aking ginagawa.
"Acuesta.." he called with a deep voice.
I raised my brow when I heard it. Acuesta? Really? Tinatawag niya ako gamit ang aking apelyido. He's being too formal that I can't help myself but to roll my eyes.
"What?" I asked, slightly raising my voice para marinig niya sa labas. Mga ilang segundo rin ang nakalipas bago siya sumagot.
"Open the door." sagot naman niya pabalik.
"Why?" nagtatakang tanong ko. Ba' t kailangan pang buksan ang pinto when he can just tell it kahit nasa labas siya.
"Just open it."
"Bakit nga?"
I was waiting for him to answer nang biglang bumukas ang pinto. Sa sobrang gulat ko sa biglaang pagbukas nito I even put my hand on my chest.
"You startled me!" sigaw ko sakanya habang tinitingnan siya ng masama. He was just looking at me intently, and I can see that he's annoyed. Wow. Hindi ba't ako dapat ang makadama niyan? Siya nalang 'tong basta-bastang pumapasok.
"Why can't you just open the fucking door instead of throwing questions after questions?" sabi niya na may bahid ng pagkainis.Iniwas ko nalang ang tingin ko sakanya saka ako nagpatuloy sa pagtutupi ng aking mga damit.
"Why are you here?"
He sighed.
"Magdi-dinner na." tanging sinabi niya. I shook my head at saka pinagpatuloy ang ginagawa ko.
"Busog ako. Kayo nalang ang kumain." Kinuha ko ang mga natuping damit at pumunta na sa walk-in closet na nakakonekta sa kwarto ko. This room is another masterpiece. The glass door closets ay kapantay na sa ceiling ng kwarto. May center closet then para sa mga accessories and other stuffs.
"C'mon Acuesta! I know you hate this place and the situation we're in but please let's keep it civil. Don't trample on the efforts of other people who works hard just to give you dinner."
