Amaranthine

Pagkapasok ko sa gate my mouth went agape. Oh my gosh! This place is a paradise! Along with the long driveway papasok are countless of different bushes that have magnificient flowers. All these greenery were well-taken care of. Literally, this place is beyond my comprehension. I parked my car in front of this gigantic house. I let out another sigh bago tuluyang lumabas ng sasakyan. I am staring at this beautiful manor, not sure how to react because of it's undeniable charisma. It's a three-storey modern classic type of villa--a dark gray  with black trim and white accents. Even his house speaks authority kaya ilang beses ko na itinataas-baba ang aking kamay, contemplating if I should press the doorbell or not.

But one thing is for sure, I am not yet ready to meet my future husband, or frankly speaking, I am not yet ready for any of these. My hands were getting damp and shaky dahil sa kaba na nararamdaman ko ngayon.

It's not that it's my first time meeting Maxon, I think I bumped into him five times already when my Dad used to tagged me along with him in his business meetings. 'Yon nga lang, 'Nice meeting you' lang ang natatanging naaalala ko na sinabi niya sa'kin. He's so busy and famous that those three words were good enough for you to hear bago na naman siya hilahin at ipakilala sa iba pang tao.

I'm really not into business or whatsoever. Sinasama lang ako ni Dad noon for fun and to socialize, but when Dad died and  my Mom takes over the company. It becomes a different story. I attended business trips to learn and not for fun anymore.  At kapag si Mom na nag nagsabi, then it's better for me to shut my mouth off. I've never agreed to this arranged marriage pero sabi ko nga, kapag sinabi na ni Mama shut up nalang ako. My opinion don't even matter to my Mom. And I wish it was, like Dad.

I was about to push the doorbell again when the wooden door opened. There standing a six-foot tall man in his white shirt and pajamas. His coal black hair was messy. He was rubbing his eyes and yawned before reality hit him that I'm here, standing in front of him, looking at him. His eyes widened and jaw tightened when he looked at me.

"What the fuck." he muttered at saka kinusot-kusot ang mata. When he just left the bed.

Wow huh. I'm amazed, not just with his looks but how he cussed in front of me. Pero, I do admit that he is a man. No joke. He's a fine man. Now that I stared at him, he has these strong features and overflowing charisma. His eyes were dark and menacing but opposite of that was his lips, his beautiful pale lips. His eyebrows were damn good and beautiful too. Thick and groomed. And now I completely understand why young girls, women regardless of status were drooling over him.

Sayang.

I clasped my hands to calm my nerves. Pang-apat, gwapo talaga. Pang-lima, wala siyang modo.
