The Forbidden: A Sam and Colby Story

Chapter 4

Around 10am i wake up and all i see is colby laying there.
Y/n: Colbaby?
Colby: hm
Y/n: you gotta wake up
Colby sits up and rubs his ocean blue eyes.
Y/n: goodmorning sleepy head.
i giggle. he looks at me and gives me a tired smile.
Colby: goodmorning beautiful.
i blush a little. i get a text from Jake.
Y/n: shit.
Colby: what's wrong?
he looks at me worried.
Y/n: Jake, Sam and Corey are on their way back.
Colby: oh fuck.
we both jump out of the bed and run to the living room.
Colby: Jakes gonna kill me.
Y/n: Colbs it's okay i'll just tell him i told you to come over this morning and he'll never know you stayed here.
Colby: are you sure it will work? i don't want you to get in trouble again.
Y/n: i'm 21 years old he can't get mad at me.
Colby: okay. do you want breakfast?
Y/n: sure.
Colby goes to the kitchen and makes pancakes and bacon.
Y/n: Alexa, play One Direction.
I look at Colby and he looks at me.
Colby: we about to jam the fuck out while i cook.
Y/n: hell yea we are.

5 minutes later

while we're listening to Night Changes we hear the door open.
Jake: Y/n we're bac-
he stops and makes direct eye contact with Colby.
Jake: COLBY WHY ARE YOU HERE.
Y/n: Jake chill out i asked him to come over last night cause i didn't wanna be alone. he didn't stay here he left last night and came back this morning.
Jake: you better not be lying to me.
Y/n: i'm not so calm down.
5 minutes of silence go by so Sam decides to say something
Sam: do i smell bacon?
Colby: uh yea. do y'all want some?
Corey: fuck yea bruther.
Sam: is that even a question
Jake: i guess i'll have some
we finish eating and Sam and Corey decided to go back to Brennen's house for the night. i went to my room to take a nap. Jake and Colby go sit in the living room and watch Youtube.
Jake: hey Colby?
Colby: yea what's up
Jake: i'm sorry for freaking out. i'm just really protective over Y/n. i don't wanna see her hurt.
Colby: dude it's okay. i would never hurt her. she means a lot to me.
Jake: Colby?
Colby: yea Jake?
Jake: do you like my sister?
(Colbys POV)
oh shit. oh fuck. how did he figure it out? should i lie to him? what if Y/n doesn't feel the same? what if Jake hates me after this? i should just tell him the truth.

Jake: hello? Colby? you there?
Colby: oh yea sorry what was the question?
Jake: do you like Y/n?
Colby: uh well y-yea i do. do you hate me now?
Jake: Colby....
Colby: yea?
Colby looks at Jake afraid of what he'll say.
Jake: dude tell her how you feel.
Colby: wait what?
Jake: i can tell she feels the same way.
Colby: i-i don't know if i can do that
Jake: just do it bro
Colby: you're right i should do it but i wanna make it special
Jake: what do you mean?
Colby: tomorrow i'm gonna take her out and do all of her favorite things with her and at the end of the night i'll take her to the beach and tell her how i feel
Jake: that's an amazing idea but what if me Sam and Corey decorate the apartment so at the end of the night you can bring her back here and ask her to be your girlfriend
Colby: i love that idea even more. imma go wake her up and tell her we're going out tomorrow.
Colby heads to my room and walks up to my bed.
Colby: hey beautiful
Y/n: hmm
Colby: it's time to wake up
i roll over and look into his eyes and smile
Y/n: hey Colbear
Colby: hey guess what
Y/n: what?
Colby: we're gonna spend the day together tomorrow.
i sit up and smile even more
Y/n: wait really
Colby: yep
Y/n: i can't wait i'm so excited
Colby: imma go make dinner do you want something?
Y/n: surprise me
Colby: alright
Y/n: imma get a shower is that okay?
Colby: yea you have time

10 minutes later

i walk into the living room and see Jake sitting on the couch watching a Ted Bundy Documentary.
Jake: oh hey Y/n
Y/n: hi Jakey
Jake: wanna watch this with me?
Y/n: you already know it.
i hop over the couch and sit next to Jake. Colby walks in with a tray of food for me and Jake i smile and Jake looks at Colby and smiles at him
Y/n: thank you Colbs
Jake: yea thank you Colbs
i lightly punch Jakes arm
Y/n: don't mock me douchebag
we all laugh and Colby takes a seat on the couch next to me.
Jake: Ted Bundy is my favorite killer
Y/n: jeez Jake way to sound creepy
Colby laughs. Jake looks over at Colby and gives him a glare.
Colby: what? it was funny.
Jake looks away trying not to giggle.
Y/n: Jake i see you hiding that smile
we all start uncontrollably laughing.
Jake: alright alright let's get back to the documentary
Y/n: fine
Colby: okay fine

An hour later

Jake: i could watch that for hours
Y/n: we know Jake
Colby: Jake i have a question.
Jake: what do you want now?
Jake laughs a little
Colby: anyways. is it cool if i crash on the couch tonight?
Jake: or you could sleep in Y/ns room on her couch.
Y/n: wait really?
Jake: yea i realized i can't baby you forever and i should let you live your life
i give Jake a big hug
Y/n: thank you thank you THANK YOU
Colby: Jake i'm pretty sure you just made her night
Jake laughs and hugs me back.
Y/n: imma go get my pjs on.
Colby: alright imma be right behind you.
Jake gets up and whispers in Colbys ear.
Jake: make sure you treat her right okay
Colby: i will i promise i'll make tomorrow a day she'll never forget.
Jake: goodnight Colby
Colby: night Jake
Jake heads to his room and shuts the door. Colby walks in to my room and shuts the door behind him.
Y/n: if you want you can sleep in my bed again.
Colby: i'm gonna listen to Jake and sleep on the couch tonight is that okay with you beautiful?
Y/n: yea that's fine, but can you lay up here with me til i fall asleep?
Colby: of course i can beautiful.
Colby climbs into my bed and wraps his arms around me and pulls me close. i snuggle up next to him and slowly fall asleep.

10 minutes later

Jake quietly opens the door and waves to Colby and smiles at him.
Jake: you can stay there if you want.
Colby: thanks man.
Jake: no problem. goodnight
Colby: night bruther
Jake closes the door and Colby closes his eyes and falls asleep.
