The Forbidden: A Sam and Colby Story

Chapter 1

Hi i'm Y/n (your name) Webber i'm 21 years old and i work as a bartender. My life's pretty normal, my family's pretty normal. i'm really close to my brother, Jake. Me and him share a best friend named Corey and he's basically my other brother. They have these friends named Sam and Colby and I've never met them, but from what they have told me about them, they seem a little off, but i'm not one to judge.

30 minutes before work:

Y/n: Jake, Corey let's go i'm gonna be late for work!
Jake: my cars still getting fixed and you know i can't get it til tomorrow.
Y/n FINE I GUESS I'LL JUST WALK TO WORK
Corey: um if you want i can drive you to work.
i'm almost out the door and i turn around with my blue sparkling eyes
Y/n: Thank you Corey!!!!!!
As we're walking out the door Jake says something to Corey.
Jake: Yo don't forget to text Sam and Colby to make sure they're still on for tonight.
Corey: I know bruther don't worry i won't forget.

about 5 minutes into the drive:

Y/n: so why are Sam and Colby coming over this time..
They only come over whenever i'm at work or i'm not home.
Corey: they're just coming to hang out like usual.

After 2 hours at work:

Kevin(my boss): Oh hey Y/n you can go home for the night. we aren't very busy, and your always a hard worker so you can take the rest of the night off.
my first thought is to call Corey to come pick me up.
On the Phone:
Y/n:  hey Corey, Kevin let me off early tonight can you come pick me up?
i hear an unfamiliar voice in the background.
???: i can go get her for you bruther.
Corey: Thanks Colby! Y/n, Colbys going to come get you. is that okay?
Y/n: um yea sure that's fine.
Corey: great he's leaving now.
Y/n: wait what about Jake? where is he?
Corey: he went to get taco bell with Sam.
Y/n: oh okay i'll be waiting outside

About 10 minutes later

i see a slightly beat up red corolla pull up in front of me. A boy with dark brown hair with hints of purple in it, with bright blue eyes rolls down his window and tells me to get in. i get in the car.
Y/n: So you must be Colby. Hi i'm Y/n.
Colby: hi beautiful i'm Colby.
the car ride was mostly quiet until Colby broke the silence.
Colby: do you want to listen to music?
Y/n: um sure
he hands me his phone and tells me to pick a playlist. i'm scrolling through as i see one that catches my eyes.
Y/n: you listen to One Direction?
Colby: um yea... is that weird?
Y/n: no, I love One Direction
we spend the rest of the car ride listening to the "Take Me Home" album.

Pulling into the Parking Garage

we pull into the parking garage and i notice Coreys car isn't in his parking spot.
Y/n: yo where'd Corey go?
Colby: i have no idea. he was here when i left to get you.
Y/n: okay let's head inside. i'm sure he'll be back soon.
i reach for my purse and my keys. we get out of the car and head into the apartment building.

In the Apartment

Y/n: hey i'm gonna go get a shower. if you need anything just knock on the door.
Colby: alright
as i'm getting out of the shower i hear a knock on the door.
Y/n: yes Colby?
Colby: i have to pee
Y/n: alright
i wrap myself in a towel and open the door. I see Colby just staring at me. We sit there for a minute or 2 just looking at eachother. i finally make the executive decision to move out of the way.
Y/n: sorry about that
at this point i'm basically blushing
Colby: it's okay princess
he winks at me and walks into the bathroom. i think to myself Did that really just happen?
i finally decide to put clothes on as i'm walking down the hallway i hear the front door open.
Jake: dude i can't wait for this party tonight.
Y/n: oh hey Jakey.
Jake: Y/N WHAT ARE YOU DOING HOME YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE AT WORK TIL 2!?
Y/n: Kevin let me off early today?
Jake: WHYS YOUR HAIR WET?
Y/n: i got a shower?
Jake: AND YOU WERE ALONE WITH COLBY?
i hear a slight chuckle come from Colby.
Jake: THIS ISNT A LAUGHING MATTER COLBY AND DONT GET ANY IDEAS.
Y/n: Jake calm down nothing happened. I came home and got a shower. nothing more. nothing less.
Jake: whatever. So back to what i was saying Colby you ready to go to the party?
Colby: i think imma sit this one out.
Jake: come on dude Sam's in the car waiting.
Y/n: what party?
Jake: a party your not going to
Y/n: and why's that
Jake: because i said so
Y/n: whatever
i go to my room and watch "Zac and Mia" until i hear a knock on my door.
Y/n: go away Jake
the doors opens and to my surprise it's not Jake.
Colby: hey i was told to babysit you since i'm not going to the party.
Y/n: my god i'm literally 21 why do i need a babysitter.
Colby: i have an idea.
he pauses for a minute.
Y/n: are you gonna tell me or are we gonna keep staring at eachother.
Colby: oh yea sorry. we should go to the party.
Y/n: Jake would kill me and you said you didn't wanna go. so what made you change your mind.
Colby: i didn't wanna go without you.
Did he really say that. i just met him. is he... NO, no way. my thoughts get the best of me until i see a hand waving in my face.
Colby: hello earth to Y/n do you wanna go or not!
Y/n: um yea hold on let me get ready.
