As Zeldris walked through the front gates, he saw a street full of energetic salesmen, townspeople, knights, and others. This was the first time he had seen something like this.

'Back home, the only time things like this happen, is when there are major fighting festivals or it's the Mid-Winter festival.' Zeldris thought. He also realized that he was receiving a lofty amount of stares from on-duty knights.

"Hey, you! Black hair, white shirt. Who're you?" A rowdy knight walked up, followed by his subordinates.

"I'm Verin, I'm the ambassador from Partavia. I'm here to talk to King Arthur Pendragon about the war between our two countries." Zeldris said. He mentally cringed as he lowered his head to the knights.

"Let's see your papers then Verin." One of the knights asked, "And keep one of your hands free okay?"

"Alright, here they are sir." Zeldris said as he took out his papers and handed them to the knights.

"Everything seems to be in order... We'll take you to his highness." The leading knight scoffed.

Zeldris followed the knights to the castle, which was surprisingly only a few miles away. The knights got him into the castle and pointed him in the direction of King Arthur.

"Thank you very much." Zeldris thanked the knights as they walked away.

'What a bunch of prideful bastards. Once I'm done here, they are the first to go.' Zeldris clenched his fists to calm himself down.

He walked to the throne room and knocked.

"Come in!" A female voice called.

The knights standing guard opened the door to reveal a large room with a teenager sitting on the throne, accompanied by Britannia's most powerful mage.

'Damn it, why would one of Meliodas's former comrades be here.' Zeldris thought.

"You must be the ambassador that Partavia sent!" King Arthur jumped up from his chair to greet Zeldris.

"Yes, I'm Verin. It's an honor to meet you King Arthur." Zeldris shook Arthur's hand, which had been extended for a handshake.

"I apologize that we can't talk today Verin, though let's talk tomorrow alright?" Arthur stated.

"Of course your highness." Zeldris smiled as best he could.

"Great! I have a room already prepped for you. Orlondi here will show you to your room." Arthur said, lightly pointing to a young boy with red eyes and blond hair.

"Follow me Mr. Ambassador." Orlondi said while skipping.

Zeldris and Orlondi walked through the castle to a room with a study, bathroom, and bedroom.

"Oh! One more thing." Orlondi said while he checked if anyone was near (No one was).

"Hm? What is it-" Zeldris was cut off.

"What is the Demon lord's son doing being a spy? Not to mention that you are the executioner and a commandment." Orlondi questioned bitterly.

"What are you doing working for a human?" Zeldris retorted.

"I didn't have a choice. I'm guessing that you already know what happened twelve years ago?"

"Correct, my elder brother, Meliodas informed me."

"I have to say, thank you for not killing all of the vampires... and I hope that you and Gelda reunite." Orlondi changed the mood.

"We did. Meliodas reunited us. And... Meliodas was the one who told me to do this spy mission." Zeldris turned away.

"Haha, that's good. By the way, I won't inform anyone of your mission I want things to go back to how they were 3,000 years ago." Orlondi smiled.

"Thank you. I'll make sure that when Meliodas takes the throne, or sooner, the vampire clan will be reinstated in the Demon realm." Zeldris stated.

"Thank you! I'll see you later Zel- I mean Verin." Orlondi chuckled as he skipped back down the hallway.

Zeldris shut the door behind Orlondi, breathing a sigh of relief.

"At least I have one ally here. Hopefully, no one else finds out, since there's a good chance no one else will be that... slippery." Zeldris said.

Zeldris took off his day clothes and put on dark clothing and a cloak.

"Kuhito" Zeldris slipped a spell and a knife came out of his hand.

'Now then, let's go regain some power.' Zeldris thought.

Zeldris opened the window and jumped out, reactivating his darkness and summoning wings. Under the cover of night, Zeldris lands soundlessly on the town square. All of the lights were out in the houses, and the bars were lively. You could hear the music coming from the bands in the bars.

'All I have to do is wait for an opening... maybe a human who's alone? Or maybe I could go for a double by knocking them both out. Or I could just smoke out one of those bars. As long as I kill a subsequent number of humans, panic will spread.' Zeldris thought. He wanted to make Camelot go into disarray.

As Zeldris contemplated murder methods, his thought process was cut short by the knights before he walked into one of the more crowded bars.

'Alright, I guess I'll do the major death tally plan.' Zeldris decided.

Zeldris waited until the doors closed. Using his darkness, Zeldris sent in darkness spores. He then shut all of the windows and doors, using darkness to seal them. And then he set off the spores.

Zeldris could hear the voices from the outside.

"What's that?"

"Hey?"

"What the hell?"

"Hey! Someone call a doctor!"

"The doors are locked!"

"Check the windows!"

"Locked too!"

"Ah! Where the hell is this coming from?"

"Bust down the doors!"

"What the hell?! The doors are being blocked by something!"

"Ack!"

As the yelling from the bar amplified, Zeldris watched from afar. He watched as the people inside banged on the windows desperately, but it was to no avail.

'I would've thought that the spores would affect the victims more slowly, though it may be the alcohol in their systems. I digress, I just have to wait until all of the victims inside are dead so I can take their souls.' Zeldris deducted.

After about an hour, everyone inside the bar was dead. Zeldris sensed that people were coming, so he quickly took the souls and returned to his room in the castle.
