As the undercover prince awoke, he found a note from Orlondi. The note read;
Hello Ambassador Verin,
Everyone is talking about a mass murderer raging rampant in the capital. I just wanted to inform you, as to make sure that you didn't become a victim yourself. We should talk more, would you like to meet, say, in the palace garden? If you would, meet me there at 0900.
I'll see you there,
Orlondi the Rose.
The disheveled young man rubbed the bridge of his nose, 'What the hell is Orlondi thinking?! I've got a meeting with the human king at 1200. Hopefully, I can get some sort of leverage against King Arthur from Orlondi."
Zeldris shook his head in dismay. As he got dressed he was mumbling curses that would be directed towards Orlondi if he was here. Checking the time, he saw that it was 0845. He bolted out of his room towards the garden, starting to reminisce about the old days so to speak.
"Your Highnesses, I am truly grateful for this opportunity to speak with you." Vampire King Izraf had already started his bootlicking.
"Drop the act Izraf, just say what you here for. Both Zeldris and I have more important matters to attend to." The first prince sighed looking towards his younger brother.
"Always to the point. We vampires have had an influx of attacks from the bastards in Stigma. I'm simply asking for a heavier military presence or allowing us to create a makeshift military of our own to"
"I'll send a couple of platoons to each area affected. Both you and I know that I can't approve of you forming a military, even if it's only temporary." Meliodas cut off. The stare he gave could make even the toughest of criminals cry like a child.
"Well, I thank you for anything you can do." Izraf stood up from the table and extended his hand.
Meliodas shook it, "Always a pleasure Izraf. Good day."
As everyone got up Zeldris was pulled to the side by the vampire that accompanies the Vampire king, "Prince Zeldris, may I have a word with you?"
"Of course, what would you like to talk about?" Zeldris waved to his elder brother, signaling that he should go without him.
"Just so you know, giving King Izraf a military would only lead to a coup. Don't get me wrong, I'm loyal to Izraf and I respect him... Though I'm more loyal to those with the power to actually protect our clans." Orlondi looked up innocently, acting as if he didn't just accuse his king of plotting treason.
Zeldris cleared his throat, "I'm surprised, I thank you for this information. I can assure you that I'll do what I can to pardon you from the punishments that would ensue if King Izraf were to attempt a coup."
As "Verin" got to the garden, he saw the vampire sitting on a bench tapping on some of the unopened flowers.
"Ambassador Verin! Over here!" He said, raising his hand as if he couldn't be seen.
Zeldris walked over and sat down on the bench next to him, "What would you like to talk about Orlondi?"
"I want to help you with 'relations' to Camelot," Orlondi said, ripping a tear in a petal of a Red Spider Lily.
"Then give me information." Zeldris crossed his legs.
Orlondi cleared his throat, "I'll take questions after I give you all the info. 1. When you inevitably take down the Seven Deadly Sins, I would recommend sparing Lady Merlin and maybe Gowther's doll. They could help as when I asked Lady Merlin about her feelings on the current situation, she said that as long as King Arthur is spared she'll work with you. 2. Try "solving" these massacres to gain King Arthur's trust. 3. Only go after a Military takedown if you can't do it from the inside, and when you do, make sure that the Vixen that seduced the First Prince is brought to face the light of justice. Hell, I'll even lure her here, though I wanna watch what his highness does to her."
Zeldris smirked, "Thank you Orlondi, I'll take that all into consideration. I must get going now though. I'd love to speak with Lady Merlin about country relations." Zeldris sat up. He walked away from the bench, heading towards his room to converse with Meliodas.
Once he got to his room, the communication tear was already up, with a pissed-off-about-being-kept-waiting, Meliodas on the other side.
"Sorry for being late brother, I was talking with Orlondi the Rose. He gave me some very useful information about claiming Camelot as a base of operations." Zeldris stated.
"Have you met with Arthur yet? Also, you don't need to be formal with me Zel." Meliodas conversed.
"I haven't met with Arthur yet, no. I will be later today though," Zeldris said, "You should focus on making ally-ships with the daughter of Belialuin and Gowther's doll. They would be good allies in this war."
"How do you suppose we do that?"
"With the daughter of Belialuin, we just have to make sure that Arthur is safe. But, when it comes to the doll I'm not sure of what his motivations are so I would leave that up to you." Zeldris and Meliodas talked for another hour.
"Alright, though try to get close to Arthur as best you can. Keep me updated Zeldris." The communicatory magic ended.
Zeldris looked at the time, '1150. I'll go over to the meeting room now.' Zeldris started over to the meeting room. All that mattered currently, was winning this god-forsaken war and helping Meliodas ascend to the throne as their rightful king.

Ambassador Verin walked through the the doors.
'He looks a lot more calm than I was when I visited Liones for the first time.'Arthur thought.
"Ambassador Verin! How are you? We have much to discuss about our countries."
"Of course Your Highness! We should start by creating an armistice charter. Don't you agree King Arthur?" Ambassador Verin said whilst sitting down.
"I completely agree Ambassador! However, we should address the recent events first. In full honesty, we've been experiencing random massacres since you arrived. Could the culprit be someone from your country who disapproves of this meeting?"
"I couldn't say with certainty. Regrettably, I don't get informed of public affairs until at least a day after unless I witnessed them myself. It would be possible though. Are there any rebellion groups you or your advisors are aware of?" Verin asked.
Arthur was shocked at what the ambassador had just alleged. Did someone from Camelot commit these massacres? It is possible...
"There aren't any that we are aware of. You bring up a good point though, I will have the knights investigate further." Sir Nanashi stated matter-of-factly.
"May I help with the investigation? Before I became an ambassador I was an investigator with my home country's police force." Ambassador Verin asked.
"Of course! That would be perfect! You can assist in the investigation as long as it's okay with Sir Nanashi."
"It is fine with me King Arthur." Sir Nanashi sighed, gaining a perplexed look from Arthur.
"Perfect! Working together, we should be able to catch this killer before they can hurt anyone else!"
