Anti sat up sharply, pulling his neck in process. There was a figure standing next to him. "Hey hey, it's just me." A comforting voice said. Anti breathed in, and out very slowly. "T-thanks Dark." The younger said. Dark hugged the gremlin and stroked his hair. "I know exactly what you were dreaming. Evelien forgave you."
Anti nodded and his breathing calmed down. There was silence in the house except the occasional 'fuck you' or something on those lines. Anti eventually looked over to the clock on his bedside drawers. 02.35am. "Why are you -lemons!- still a-awake?" The younger asked. Dark looked at Anti as if to say 'Are you serious?' You were crying and ticcing a lot. Plus we went over this dear. Whenever you say 'I'm sorry' in a dream or a nightmare, someone has to wake you up. It's trauma" Dark explained.
Anti nodded, remembering. Dark sat on the edge of the bed next to the younger, side hugging him. Dark turned towards him and kissed his head and wrapped his arms around the fragile boy. He raked his hands through the glitches hair, as Anti sobs into his chest. Dark felt a strange feeling in his heart. It felt like a ping of heart burn. Then he realised. That was guilt and sadness. He felt terrible, looking down at the glitch.
His green fluffy hair was messed up, his eyes were shut, tears rolling down his face. Dark held Anti and whispered sweet things to him. Eventually, the small glitch fell asleep. Dark kissed the top of his head and carried him over to Dark's bed. He lay Anti down and he got in next to him. He wrapped his arms around the small boy and held him while they both slept.
Meanwhile, Marvin was downstairs raiding the kitchen with Jackie and Jameson. Marvin stopped because he thought he heard someone speaking. "You guys hear that?" Marvin asked. The other two boys stopped and listened. "Yeah, It sounds like...crying?" Jameson signed. Jackie looked towards the stairs. "It's Anti." He said.
Marvin sped up the stairs heading towards Anti's room. He went to open the door until he heard Dark comforting him. Marvin sighed in relief and went back to raiding the kitchen. "He's fine. Dark got there in time." Jameson smiled and Jackie nodded before going back to scavenging in the cupboards, along with his mute friend.
Marvin smiled softly and started looking in the fridge again for things to eat.
