You'll Never Be A Hero [Villain Deku AU]

No peace at night

My phone started buzzing later that night, waking me up. I picked it up tiredly, looking at the time.

"What the hell does Crusty want at 2 in the morning..?" I muttered. "Hello..?"

"Hello, Midoriya. I just wanted to check in," Shigiraki said.

"What are you my father now?"

"Anyways, how are things going over, no one is suspecting anything already, right?"

"No, I wouldn't be any good at hiding in plain sight if they suspected me already. There are some annoying imbeciles here though..."

"Good, good, one last thing... next time you're able to, head to the base, there something important we need to tell you but it has to be in person."

"Ok, good night, it's 2 in the morning and I need to sleep." With that I hung up, and tried to get back to sleep.

My dream that night was... odd. A person starred at me, anger in his eyes. No one else was there, just me and a man with ruffled white hair, glaring at me.

"You were the ninth successor," he said. "Why would you do this!?"

"I'm sorry?" I said, waving my hands. I was pretty sure I knew what he meant, how could I become a villain?

"This was a power destined to defeat All For One and bring peace to the world! Why, why would you join his side!?"

"You can do anything if pushed enough."

"I was concerned when I saw Yagi choose you, now it's clear my concerns were right. Evil does run in my brother's family, you were doomed to the path of evil the moment you came into this world! The moment you gave him the name of "father"!"

I jolted up from my pillow, it took me a second to remember where I was, what I was doing here. Right before I forgot, I snatched my notebook and pen, and scribbled down every line the man in my dream said. It seemed important to me, I don't know why. Then I put the book and pen back and left.

I stepped into the bathroom to get ready, Todoroki and Iida were already in there brushing their teeth. I stepped in between them and did the same.

"Good morning Midoriya!" Iida greeted.

"Morning..." I muttered.

"You look tired,"Todoroki said. "I suppose you're not much of a morning person?"

"Todoroki! That's very rude!" Iida shouted.

"He's not wrong though, I had an odd dream last night... whatever, I'm gonna go get breakfast, meet you there." I set my toothbrush down and left, Iida screaming that I didn't brush for the full two minutes.

I made my way to the kitchen, waiting there were most of the girls and a few of the other boys.

"Morning Dek- Oh my God! You look exhausted!" Uraraka exclaimed.

"Yeah, I know. Restless sleep last night."

"You don't seem all that fun to deal with when you're tired," Kaminari complained.

"Too bad," I said as I sat down at the table. Yoayorozu set a plate down in front of me and went back to cooking. I picked at it a bit before finally eating. Bakugo walked in the room and sat down on the other end (and side) of the table.

"Morning Kaachan," I said.

"Shut it Deku!" He snapped.

"Well, at least Midoriya looks better..," Sero said.
