T-MEN
POV: Jack's Memory
[Tuesday, September 1998]
I'm suited in my office suite, my case next to the leg as I'm eating the most beautiful breakfast. Nathan appears with a big grin on his face, leaning to kiss me on the lips. “Did you sleep well?”
“I'm like a bison on a wealthy ranch, greenish grass, don't worry about me too much.” A knowing smile he does, takes a seat facing me and looks me in the eyes. “No, you stayed up all night, what were you doing?”
A fork full of a healthy chunk of food, happily I put in my mouth, glance at Nathan staring with the corner of his lip lifts into a surreptitious smirk. “You stayed up all night so you know I stayed up all night, what were you doing?”
“Come on, Jack, we play fair, I asked you first!” and as he saying, be the time he adjusts my hairlines in place for me.
He returns to my face with a 'tell me' look, I pay him with a meaningful smile. “Happy Anniversary, love!” I pull out two aircraft tickets as Nathan's eyes widen, taking the tickets with an ineffable look. “No way, I was planning on our Anniversary too, here!”
He holds up his phone showing pictures of a fancy restaurant and aircraft tickets. So we were thinking all along the same thing, a delighted hunch runs on my spine as I see this is not a waste of money, it's substantiating how affiliated we are. And about our son, “I see Liam will be without us for a week.”
Nathan looks to the upstairs where our son, Liam in his room sleeping, then repays his eyes to mine. “He loves grandma and grandpa, he will be with them while we're gone.”
Nathan settles his back straight in excitement, eyes glimmering. “So, do we flee tonight? The restaurant first?” I let go of my fork and knife on the plate as I finished, leaving my chair, I amorously smooch Nathan from behind resting my chin on his shoulder as he's leaning his head on mine with his hand caressing my arm.
My voice lowers as if it sounds like honey. “Yes, and I will be yours, and you will be mine, and I will tell you how much I appreciate you, and how much I miss you even I've seen you every day in my life, still not enough, I will tell you everything, everything about you that I can't explain, everyth–”
Nathan laughs slightly and his dulcet voice speaks up with enjoyment. “Okay, okay, save it there, you will tell me everything about me tonight but now get your ass to work, you don't want to get fired”
With a kiss on his forehead, I grab my case and lead to the door with Nathan. “See you tonight then, honey hive!” I lean to buss but he playfully pulls away, “You're the honey hive, come on, get out of here!”
As he successfully shoos me to my car when I glimpse back at Nathan, as his cheeks blushing I take more steps. “Nathan, how could I go to work when I have your beautiful existen–” as expected, his face turns the smile into a frown and he slams the door.
With a gaily satisfying smile, I get in the car, my voice drops low in a loving tone. “Have your beautiful existence pinned in my mind!”
I drive off.

POV: Jack Shepherd
I awake to a bright light in my eyes as I get my conciousness back, I immediately try to move but find myself tied up to a chair instead. In front of me is a female doctor, ponytail and a cool glasses. As she turns of the light and writes something on the chart, I take my time to look around, it doesn't feel like, this room doesn't look like a hospital room for me.
