Thousands of years ago, In a parallel universe, a war between gods broke and on the head of it were Aphrodite,Ares, Apollo, Dionysus, Demeter, Artemis, Hades, Poseidon ,Athena and lastly Zeus
The war was so severe that it reached earth. It lasted months but everything changed when Hades used the dead in the war and almost won. No matter how powerful you are, if you're out numbered you lose.
The rest of the gods and goddesses bottled with rage. Hades was cheating in the war by using the dead.
Each one of them decided to do the same but instead they would use the mortals that's why the formed clans, giving some of their powers as a gift and in return they would fight next to them.
That change in human nature caused mutations, their hair color, eyes, skin, everything changed, some even had horns and other animal features.
With the help of mortals, the war ended but left behind millions of dead people, so the gods and goddesses didn't take back the powers they gave as a generous gesture of kindness.
After the war ended, earth was ruined, people were dead, human kind was about to extinct. The remaining People from all over the world gathered in continent and built a huge wall around the whole area as to protect them from any kind of danger.
As years passed, those gifted ones started mating and reproducing and over the span of thousand year there were no "normal" humans left.
They built their own community and divided lands among each clan then came a general from Zeus clan and United all lands, there were no longer borders. All clans lived together but under a strict law. The most important two of them were
1- marrying someone from another clan is prohibited 🚫
2- using your powers is prohibited 🚫
Whoever question or disobey those two rules specifically, are either beheaded or imprisoned for life.
But as years passed, people with no gifts started to be born again but it was rare. 1/1000 person would be ungifted. People hated them and pointed them out as the cursed or the ones unloved bu the gods so they didn't give them any gifts. They became the outcast, the rejected.
However the first rule changed slightly.
1- marrying someone from another clan is prohibited 🚫 unless it's someone who is ungifted.
