Luna's P.O.V
I slowly walk in the empty hallway I've been familiar with for five years for the last time. Walking in this hallway was really a challenge for me and I've mastered any steps necessary to avoid bumping into someone. I continue to walk down the hall, the clicking of my heels echoing.
I walk out on the field where our graduation ceremony would be held, looking at my fellow students wearing their togas' happily.
"There you are." Allan said when I arrive at our seats. "Where have you been?"
"I was just reminiscing." I replied and sit next to him. "We're the last one on the batch to finish Allan and it's finally our time to leave this place."
"I know, are you going to miss this place?" He ask, holding onto my hands.
"Of course. Aside from my freshman year, these last four years was like a Ferris Wheel and I really enjoyed the ride." I look around us, look at the other students now sitting on their sits as we wait for the ceremony to start. "And the highlight of that was you, thank you for asking me to be your friend Allan."
He pouts as his eyes glisten before hugging me. "I love you Moonshine and I'm really thankful that you're my friend." We just hug and talk more about a lot of things before the ceremony finally started.
It was finally the Valedictorian's closing speech. We clap our hands as she walk up the stage and smile at us. "College is where we discover a lot of things about ourselves, we discover what we truly want, some of us discover that some of our high school life choices was actually not for us and some pursue those choices. College, just like high school is where we find life long friends and some, life long partners. College made us cry hard, laugh like never before and made us depressed at some point in our life because of how hard our chosen courses than we thought, but my fellow graduates, let's clap to our past selves as well as our present selves because we survive!" We cheered and clapped while others whistle. "We are finally finishing the last stage of our student life and are about to head into the world of applying for jobs or starting our own businesses, its finally the real deal and with that being said, I do hope all of us enjoyed every bit of college, because this only happens once in our life and regret is the most painful feeling there is. Let us all do our best and enter the working society with a bang! Thank you." She bowed and all of us jump up and threw our caps in to the air.
"Congratulations to us!" One of our classmate said and we all scream in ecstasy before we all took pictures with everyone. Allan and I said goodbye to all of them before heading towards the parking lot where our parents are waiting.
"She said we're finally going to start working when us, architect students still needs to do two years of training and then there's still our license exam." Allan sigh.
"This is not the time to be depressed." I look at my watch and it's already six pm, I thought we would finish at five, but oh well. "Let's cross that bridge when we get there." I broke out a big smile when I saw my family and I practically ran towards them and Allan did the same to his.
"Oh my other baby finally graduated." My mom hug and sway me from side to side. "I am so proud of you darling."
"Thank you mom." I said and hug my dad after she let go of me.
"Congratulations Luna, I'm very proud of you." My dad said and kiss the top of my head, I thank my dad as well. Allan and his parents joined us and we all took pictures before going on our separate ways.
