Chapter Thirteen - Dark Past Dark Future

-Eren's POV-
We were basicly running to the old werehouse. Me and Armin found it when we earned ourselves the title of 'Survey Corps'. We runned and runned and finally we made it. Armin was there. Sitting on the stairwell for second floor. His face wasn't turn againts us yet he noticed that we were there

"I told you to came alone. Are you that stupid to not understand a writen message?" he coldly asked me. That was enough

"WHAT THE HELL ARMIN? WHAT'S GOTTEN INTO YOU? YOU WEAK SHIT!" I yelled

"Eren that's enough!" Mikasa harsly said. Annie was there looking at Armin. I don't think she's able to move at all

"THAT'S ENOUGH?! HE'S BEEN ACTING CRAZY MIKASA!! WE DESERVE AN EXPLANATION" I had enough. I was about to yell more

"I'll give you one but Mikasa is right. I'm not in mood for yelling so you better be quiet" he spoked

"Is that a thread?" I asked

"More like a warning" he jumped down from where he sat and we saw his face. His lifeless face. He lift his arm wich made me speechless. His arm was covered with cuts and they were really bad. I couldn't say anything. He was holding something in his hand. He walked closer until he was in front of me

"You are not the one with a knife in his hands" he simply said. I felt like I was fainting. What the fuck? He gaved me a creepy smile as he took a few steps back and sit down

"Well about that explanation you want so badly I'll give it to you. Please have a seat" I sat down in second. Mikasa was second. Annie was still up. Looking at Armin

"I'm sorry to make you feel this way. You probably dissapointed. I don't blame you I actually hate myself too. Well not like I give shit what happens to me. After all you don't like me, Eren doesn't like me too, Mikasa doesn't either. Soon the entire school will hate me. My grandfather died so I think there is no love for me" he was looking at ground but he was talking to Annie. Her eyes whidened as she walked next to Armin and gaved him a hug. I swear a saw a small smile. I saw Armin. Real Armin just for a second

"We don't hate you. I'd never hate you" she said. He shaked her off and moved away from her

"You will. Now I think it's best for me to start from beginning" he said as Annie sat down

My mom is coming from the Park line. This family is well known for it's female members. Because for generations the female members had this weird sickness. When they fall in love, something inside them wakes up. Second brain, a ghost, curse, devil whatever name you give it to it. That thing is a part of you. The voice in your head. Speaks to you. Sometimes controls you. It's actually saying something about not telling you guys but I'm telling this no matter what. Anyway it's main goal to protect your loved one

"Protect? From what?" Mikasa asked

"From others. The boys that talks to her, that wants her pen or her number or made a science project with her" as he said those things he was getting angrier

"Okay so does that means you have this sickness even if you are a boy?" Annie asked him. He nodded

"That explains why you always afraid of love" a light bulb in my head was sparkling. He nodded again

"But I don't get it. Why did you cut yourself?" I asked him

"Well physical pain helps to avoid mental one"Armin said as he opened a real deep cut on his cheeck. The blood was coming from it but he seemed he didn't care. He giggled at the pain. We were terrified

"Okay that's it we are taking you to a hospital" I said as getting up

"Well sorry but you are not leaving yet. I'd like Annie and Mikasa to go actually" Armin said creeply. He was smiling again. He got up too
