I stood there with my jaw dropped so low it could reach the core of the earth.

He was there standing up, his hands crossed in front of his puffed out chest, and his greenish gray eyes piercing into my own. If I was afraid my knees would buckle and my eyes would go back into my head; But I'm not, so I turned my eyes onto full glare and if burning a hole into someone's head was possible with my eyes, I would.

When I finally was in control of my legs, I took long strides to reach my desk. It was like those ordinary desks, a gray top and a red chair. I wasn't ordinary, instead of sitting in the front like most nerds, I sat in the back, I didn't want people, including the teacher, to pay any attention to me.

I plopped down my binders and notebooks on to the rack beneath the chair.

"Oh god," I sighed. The board was filled with all sorts of quadratic equations and tons of mathematic formulas.

I yanked out a pencil from my pencil pouch, and my black and white notebook, and started to write down the basic notes.

"Psst!" I heard someone breath, I shrugged it off, it probably wasn't for me.
"PSST!" I heard it again but this time it was louder.

"What," I growled, but my mouth immediately dropped into a frown when I saw who it was. The butt from the hallway.

"Maybe you shouldn't yell at me," He gave a fake frown and touched his chest with his hand. But in his free hand, he had my math homework.

"Give it back," I urged.

"Why, I do not know what you are talking about," He smirked.

I clenched my fists so hard that my palms turned white. My mouth was pressed into a thin line. I leaned over and tries grabbing my paper with my little hands, but no luck.

"Come on! I need this work, just give it back!" I pleaded.

"Why should I? You're the one who pushed me down in the hallway!"

"Because you were blocking my way! And we could on about this all day," I tried hard not to squeeze his throat.

"If you want your paper back, then..." He left off.

"Then what?" I rolled my eyes.

"Then you would have to skip school with me after lunch for the rest of the day," He winked.

"To hell with you! I'd rather get a bad grade, than skip school, especially with you," I argued.

"Ugh! Fine! If you want your homework back, just tell me your name," He glanced at the front of the classroom, Mr. Hister was entering.

"Fine! My name is Winter!" I leaned over the desk once again, and snatched the paper out of his hand, and places it on my desk, with my arm over it so he couldn't take it away.

"Good morning class!"

"Good morning Mr.Hister!" the class spoke out monotony.

"Lets get started on quadratic equations!" His eyes sparkled.

------One very long math class later----

I made my way from class to class with no sign of hallway guy, and my heart soared with relief.

I dragged my feet behind me and sat down at my lunch table.

"Hey Winter, what's up," Aspen spoke up.

"Nothing." I grumbled with stabbing my fork into my fruit salad.

"Doesn't seem like nothing," Courtney said while sitting down.

"Tell us," Aspen pleaded.

"So this guy in the hallway was blocking my way, and I pushed him down. And then he took my math homework, but gave it back when I told him my name." I breathed.

"Who is he?" Piper piped up from behind me.

"Not you too! I don't even know his name."

"Well I guess you could ask him now."
Aspen shrunk down in her seat.

"Why?" I wondered.

"Well him and his man posse are coming to our table." Piper whispered.

Oh crap.
