Grizz woke up early the next morning. Having been told about their trial, he hoped to talk to Allie and Will before it started. As he awoke, he smiled at the man sleeping next to him. As much as Sam looked peaceful, he didn't want to just get up and leave. Grizz got out of bed, which to his surprise didn't seem to make Sam budge at all. Maybe he'd been that calm and gentle getting up or maybe Sam was a heavy sleeper. Grizz gave Sam a gentle nudge, stirring him from his slumber. Sam quickly sat up in the bed, slightly confused as to why Grizz was leaving so soon.
"Good morning. What's the rush?" Sam asked
"Good morning" Grizz said, "I'm sorry, I need to go and talk to Allie and Will before the trial"
"Oh. That's OK" Sam signed. He watched as Grizz got dressed, biting his lip as he took in what he was seeing. Sam watched as the man in front of him put on his trousers, still finding hard to believe he was dating this guy. Grizz noticed Sam was watching, but played it cool and tried not to blush as he finished putting his top on. Grizz looked at Sam again. He tucked his hair behind his ears as Sam watched and bit his lip again.
"You can stay here until the trial if you want, there's coffee in the kitchen cupboards somewhere." Grizz said, "You don't look like you're in a rush."
"Thank you," Sam replied.
Grizz went back to the bed and gave Sam a kiss. He then opened the bedside cabinet and took out a key. He handed it to Sam, who looked at him in confusion.
"I found a spare key to the house," Grizz explained. "I know we haven't been together long, but I know you feel more comfortable here. Just remember to lock up when you leave and please don't lose it."
"Okay" Sam said, smiling at the gesture "thanks"
"Sorry again, but it was nice to wake up with you properly this time" Grizz said, blushing as he realised how silly it sounded.
"It's fine, go and talk to Allie. I'll see you later" Sam said, chuckling slightly
"See you later," Grizz signed before leaving the room.
Sam grabbed his phone from the bedside cabinet, checking to see if he'd had any calls or messages from Becca. There was nothing. He guessed that her first night with Eden had been alright, after all she was at the hospital with Kelly and Gordie. He decided to send her a text to see if she was awake yet. Naturally, he wanted to go and check on them but didn't want to wake her if she was still asleep. He got out of bed and put his clothes on before heading downstairs to the kitchen. Sam set about making himself a cup of coffee and then sat down, leaving his phone on the table in case he got anything back from Becca.

Becca woke up in the hospital to find Eden still sleeping in the cot. Eden had cried a few times in the night, but Becca was still feeling refreshed. She got up and checked on her baby, being careful not to disturb Eden from her sleep. Becca's phone went off and she saw it was a message from Sam.
"Are you up yet? I wanted to see you and Eden before the trial" the message read.
"Yeah, come on over" Becca messaged back. She put her phone away and placed her attention back on Eden. Some moments later, Kelly quietly walked in
"Hey. How is she?" Kelly asked
"She's OK. She woke up a few times in the night" Becca replied, smiling
"Well, you've got a lot more nights like that to come" Kelly joked, "Where's Sam?"
"I told him to go home last night. He's done so much, but he needed to rest and get some sleep. I just messaged him so he should be here in a while." Becca said.
