West Ham's library was like any other, full of books and full of people looking for another story to dive into. But there was something 'special' about this library. Mrs Pressman was sat on a chair, with children on the floor in front of her and the adults standing around. All of them were wearing yellow ribbons on their tops, most likely showing respect to unfortunate events. All the children were drawn into the story, paying attention to every word and every detail. Mrs Pressman was just finishing the book. She spoke softly, but with a small sense of sadness - perhaps from the story or perhaps from something deeper.

"But Wendy had a better plan. 'Let's all slip into our beds and be there when she comes in, just as if we had never been away.' And so, when Mrs Darling went back to the night nursery, all the beds were occupied. She saw them. But she did not believe they were there. You see, she saw them in their beds so often in her dreams, that she thought this was just the dream. Hanging around her still."

And at that, she closed the book, bringing the children and adults back to reality. On the wall behind Mrs Pressman was a memorial, with "We Remember Them" written along the top. It was filled with lots of names. Names familiar to most if not all residents in the town. Names of people that had been lost and taken far too soon. Names from the class of 2019.

Now you probably have questions. Be careful though, they say curiosity killed the cat. But there's one question that's probably screaming in your head the most: What happened to them?. That's a brilliant question but one we'll save for a much later time. Instead, you should ask What is happening to them?, for they live on. Somehow.
