Once again, the entire town had congregated in the town hall to see the trial conclude. Allie, Will and Gordie were sat at the defence's table, dreading what their sentence would be. Grizz was in the front row, anxious as to where Tristan was. Grizz hadn't seen him around before entering the hall, but remained hopeful he might be in amongst the sea of people. Following last night's short discussion, it was time Lexie to pass sentence on Allie and Will. She knew this was going to be tough, but she had to do what she had to do.

"Allie and Will, yesterday you were found guilty of rigging the election and, following a long discussion, I must now pass sentence." Lexie spoke, "It was a tough decision."

Allie and Will were prepared for a prison sentence, and dreading what would happen to them while carrying it out.

"We discussed imprisonment, however we do not have the resources to do this and we can't leave you in the wine cellar." Lexie continued, "We also considered basic rations for a fixed amount of time, however we fear what you might try to do next if we let you walk free."

Lexie paused for a moment and took a deep breath.

"It left us with no other alternative." Lexie said, her voice shaking slightly "It's with a heavy heart that I must sentence you... sentence you to death."

"What!" Allie exclaimed.

"You can't" Will shouted, "that's just fucked up"

This announcement caused outrage from a lot of the people in the room as well as the two defendants.

"Please Tristan, fucking do something now. You promised" Grizz thought to himself

The outcry continued as booing and curses were sent across the hall to Lexie. The guard began heading over to escort Allie and Will, but were distracted as someone rose from their seat at the back of the hall.

"Except that won't happen" their voice shouted from the back, silencing everyone else.

Tristan had snuck into the trial and had been sitting at the back of the hall. For once, he wasn't wearing a hoodie. Instead he was wearing a shirt and waistcoat with a black bow tie. This was perhaps a bizarre choice, but then he was proving to be a bizarre person. He got up and began making his way down the main aisle. Grizz felt a wave of relief upon seeing Tristan, glad that he had stuck to his promise. Voices began murmuring throughout the hall in confusion and surprise. Seeing him as a threat, Lexie took action.

"Guard, stop him!" Lexie shouted.

Clark was stood near the front and immediately walked to intercept. Tristan stopped in front of him.

"Go back to your seat" Clark ordered

"Get out of my fucking way, Clark" Tristan snapped, pushing past him with some force.

Clark grabbed Tristan by the shoulder in an attempt to drag him away, however Tristan quickly removed the hand from his shoulder and once again pushed Clark away. Saying nothing more to the bully, Tristan carried on to the front. He reached into his pocket and placed his sheet of notes in front of the defendants. Gordie, Allie and Will unfolded the paper and began reading them. There was a sticky note at the top. Written on it was: Please just read this quietly and trust everything I say. The word trust was underlined - this guy clearly needed their full trust. Tristan walked right to the front and faced Lexie.

"Tristan Collins, representing the defence" he spoke

"I don't know who you are Tristan, but the trial is over." Lexie replied "They were found guilty after fair trial and they will face their sentence."
