Forbidden Connection

=CH 22= Solid Ground

                         "Jump." I tell the racer beside me. "What?" He asks "Are you crazy?" I step back once more "Give me the keys and jump. Trust me." Smokescreen sighs and hands them over to me before jumping off. "Oh, so you're the one choosing to surrender." Megatron laughs. I say "I wanted him to be safe so I asked him to give me the keys and to jump, to escape. His friends'll summon a bridge for him." Megatron steps closer to me. I step back in fear, nearly slipping. "Now, hand them over."

                            I smirk behind my mask before saluting and falling back. I catch up to Smokescreen who was worried sick "Are you sure that you got a plan!!???" He yells out. I nod and shots are fired. We activate our phase shifters once more, falling behind the eradicons and then deactivating them, shooting it. Smokescreen calls in "Smokescreen to base. I could really use a groundbridge." Shortly after, the portal appears below us. but we're knocked off course by Megatron. I got knocked out immediatly by being smacked in the head.

                              I shortly wake up to Smokescreen's voice "Dude, wake up!!!" He calls. I open my optics to see his face. He lets go of my shoulders, seperating from me. "We're gettin too close to the ground. About that plan of yours?" The racer calls out once more. I nod, turning myself around for better control. I activate my wings and he once again was surprised "So that's why!! You have a wingsuit!!!!" I nod and fly over to him, grabbing him and holding him tightly to me. "That phase shifter still on?" I ask. He answers "Yep." "Good, we'll need it. I hope proper grounding on these things don't apply to actual ground." I respond. 

                       When we get close enough, we zoom through the floor. I flip upright and land hard. I set Smokescreen down and he turns off his phase shifter. We wait for something which was explosions above us. The eradicons crashed into the ground. A yelling was heard before another crash, making Smokescreen and I burst into laughter. "Hey, good plan." He says. I nod "I was just thinking on the--- fly...." We crack up once more at my joke. 

                       I remove 2 of the keys from my subspace and hand them over to Smokescreen. "Darn how big is your subspace?" He asks. I answer "It's definetly bigger than yours apparently." He smiles, beginning to laugh "I feel like we're gonna make great friends in the future you and I, but I gotta go back to base. I'll see you around." I stop him before he leaves "Smokescreen. Don't tell anyone who I am or who helped you." He nods. "And.... Be safe." I say once more. He smiles and salutes to me, leaving the cave. I use my remote groundbridge that I forgot I had and get back to base. My base.
