Forbidden Connection

=CH 41= Aboard Ship

A few minutes later, Radier goes to fly. He soon crashes down and chirps in annoyance and tiredness. They look to me for translation. I say "Modifactions are too heavy. I'll install extra boosters for him." I get to work on Raider once again, adding new and compact engines and thrusters for him. They do one more TestFlight and he was perfect.

Smokescreen asks "So we're gonna let Raider 2.0 fly to con central..." "and lead us right to Ratchet." Jack adds.

We bring Raider outside and Fowler asks "You sure we don't need to attach a GPS on our scout here." I reply "too risky, Wheeljack told me that both sides are getting real good at rooting out that kind of trick." Smoke adds "Besides, we don't need a tracker! We got these guys!!" He points to both me and Prime. Miko asks "But won't the cons see you coming, big guys?" I state "They may detect Optimus but they don't know I'm there. I don't have a signal."

Ultra Magnus tells us "We'll be prepared for immediate mobilization upon your command, sir." Smoke adds "Good luck, Optimus. You too, Nemesis!" Arcee says to Prime "Be safe." Bee chirps something happily and Prime says "Whatever the outcome, know that Ratchet would be most proud of your contribution." Rafael smiles. Wheeljack couldn't take it anymore "Common guys, let's light this thing!" I tap Raider and then point to the sky. He bursts off and Optimus and I eject our wings and we fly off after the little guy.

We were flying for so long that it got to day time. Fowler calls us both "Primes, haven't heard from you 2 in awhile. Everything alright up there?" Prime answers "So far, Agent Fowler." Jack's voice comes "What happens when the cons ID Laserbeak's signal?" "We're counting on Optimus and Nemesis making visual contact with the warship before it's radar can detect anyone else. Optimus for instance since Nemesis doesn't have a signature." Raf adds. Wheeljack comments "They'll be fine." Arcee adds "it's not the primes I'm worried about."

Time Skip

                    We follow Raider and soon enter a storm. I fly through the lightning, spinning, rising and falling.... I saw Optimus staring at me, mesmerized. I ask "What ya staring at?" He shakes his helm and looks away.

                 We soon come across Starscream. I saw him launch a missile and Prime hadn't seen him. I shove Prime out of the way and get hit myself. Optimus dives toward me and I reactive my thrusters and fly off, grabbing his servo and pulling him back to the air. "That hit you in the spark chamber, how did it not kill you in the explosion?" Prime asks. I shrug and then pull him away when Starscream fires another missile. We then eject blasters and shoot at the F-16. We then get shot at by other Mechs. Decepticon soldiers.... We fly away and continue flying; retreating from the seekers. We then turn and shoot them all, blowing them up.

                      A few more seekers come out and we keep flying. Every once and awhile, we turn around and shoot; destroying some of them. But more came a bit at a time. We then look over and see an explosion. We knew for certain that it was Raider.... "No...."  We both mutter.

          The lightning continues flashing and we both fly after the seeker, shooting as we do. He then got bridged away and I boost off, flying through with. I tumble across the ground and then stop. Starscream had ran, not noticing I was here now.
