Forbidden Connection

=CH 12= Arguing Among Allies

                 "Alright Nemesis, parties over. Stand up and lets finish this." The bulked mech growls. I stand up and retract my weapons "Is that wise? I did just save your life...." "You tried to end me!!!" He yells back. "I don't even believe that your in full control of yourself. You're probably still being controlled by MECH!! That was just act!!!" I hold my chassis which had a big dent in it. A loud screech drives us away. Pun unintended because it was a race car. He transforms and skids to a stop infront of us. "What did I miss? What happened to you?" The bot asks me. 

                   "Who are you?" I ask in return. He salutes "Smokescreen!! I thought I told you already." I shake my helm "You are reffering to Optimus Prime. I am Nemesis Prime. I'm a creation of MECH, not a cybertronian." Smokescreen doesn't have the reaction I've recieved from others "Wow, seriously!!?? You should totally join our team then!!! We could use some extra help after Bulkhead got his tail kicked by Hardshell." Bulkhead yells "Smokescreen!!! I am functioning perfectly fine. And he is not joining or replacing me like you did!!!" The racer worries "That's kind of h-harsh, Bulkhead." He had a break in his voice. "I-I didn't mean to re--place you. I would never...." This mech is mean.

                    I push him away from Smokescreen and he gets ready to fight me. "Leave the kid alone. He's just asking if I would like to join your team and help since you may not be fully functional. If you argue one more time, I will fight you and most definetly win. And you may say 'MECH doesn't know half of what you can do'. I'm not some Artifical Intelligence or some mech suit or battle toy created by MECH. I am not just a robot. I am as equal to any of you. I can transform into a vehicle, function without a remote, I know who to listen to and who to fight, I came here for a reason, and I have energon running through me just like you. I am just as good as any other Cybertronian."

                     He went speechless but then brought up an answer "Oh please. The kid's only sensitive because he hasn't been exposed to the things I have. And you're just making this up. It's not the first time MECH has done that." Bulkhead ejects his wrecking ball and charges at me. I eject my wings and jump over him with the thruster power. I fly into the air to avoid him and he stares up in disbelief. "You have the same symbol as that italian colored scheme mech I saved from the bug mech along with the symbol as my duplicate who nearly died to Dreadwing. I will let you off the hook this once. If you attack me again, I will not be held responsible for my actions." I yell before flying off.

Optimus's Perspective

                  We were all back at base, Ratchet was scanning us for injuries. I was last as I prefer the well being of my teammates before myself. A pair of engines puts Ratchet on edge. He stomps out and just as Smokescreen and Bulkhead return and transform into bot mode, he begins yelling "Bulkhead!!! I specifically told you not to leave the base!!!" "I had curbside duty!!" Bulkhead argues.

               Smokescreen stayed back. I stand up and ask "What happened to Smokescreen?" Bulkhead growls "He's fine." Smokescreen looks to the floor. I was concerned "No he is not. Smokescreen? Are you injured?" He shakes his helm. Ratchet argues "Smokescreen, mental injuries are a form of that." Smokescreen sighs and nods. I look to the wrecker "What did you say to him?"

                       Bulkhead goes off topic "Ignore that, what we should really be talking about is how I found out who the mystery mech was----" "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO SMOKESCREEN!!!??" I suddenly yell. "Disrespect to teammates will not be supported here!! What did you say to him!!??" Bulkhead was worried at how I suddenly changed mood. Everyone was. Smokescreen speaks up "I got to Bulkhead who was with the mystery mech.  He introduced himself and I just suggested that he should join the team since he seems to help. I stated Bulkhead's predicament and Bulk goes and yells at me saying that I joined to replace him...." I walk over and kneel down to Smokescreen to say "You did not replace him, you are an additional member to the team." I glare over at Bulkhead "No one will get replaced or be treated lower than anyone else."

                  I stand back up "Smokescreen did nothing wrong for you to yell at him. I would advise you go for a drive to blow off steam." Miko calls out "Perfect!!! I can go with!!" I continue "Alone. If you are acting like this to Smokescreen, you may hurt Miko with the anger you still possess without knowing it. I will not afford to lose a teammate and you know as well as anyone else." Bulkhead nods and leaves.
