Chapter 1

Kirsten's POV

"Oh my gosh, you guys. Halloween is literally going to be so fun this year," I said to my best friends, Rachel and Josie.

"Baba, I hope we see some hot guys. Remember last year when those guys totally just wanted to get in our pants," Rachel said back to me. Baba is a name that Josie came up with when we were in 8th grade. We were in a group message and she meant to type 'babes' and auto correct changed it to babas'. I guess it just stuck.

"Well we were wearing a tight black jumpsuit with cat makeup...I mean we looked pretty freaking sexy," Josie finished. Rachel and I laughed and finished putting on our makeup. We were being zombies this year.

"Trick or treat?" we all said enthusiastically at the first house we came to.

"Aren't you girls a little too old to be trick or treating?" an old lady asked us as she was putting the candy into our pillowcases. We all looked at each other shyly said no and then walked away.

"Well we are sophomores," Rachel said.

"Fuck those people. Like seriously, it's Halloween just let us have some fun!" I said with a pissed off tone.

"Amen to that," Josie said with a sigh.

We went house to house and unfortunately, didn't see one hot guy. Maybe they were all inside. I live in a suburban neighborhood in Minnesota so Halloween is usually cold. It was this year. My neighborhood is pretty big and although I know my next door neighbors and a few others scattered around, I don't know very many people. I promise I do have a life, but all the people in my neighborhood are a few years older than me or go to a different school. Josie, Rachel and I all go to Richland High School, while most of my neighbors go to St. Katherine's...its a private high school.

"I'm sorry but this is probably the least fun we've ever had on Halloween. I'm just saying, but we could be at home right now watching a Rob Lowe movie," Rachel confessed.

"Hah, well I could not agree more!" I said.

"Come on guys! Don't be such party poopers just give it a few more houses...there will probably be a cute guy soon," Josie figured.

"Three more and I'm done. With a capital D," Rachel said with a giggle, knowing how dirty that sounded.

We walked and went to two more houses with the lights on, so we know people are home. There was just another crabby old lady and one 45 year old dad.

We had almost given up when we got to the third house.

"This is it," I said with a smirk.

"Go for it," Josie said with almost no energy left.

"Ayee," a really attractive guy said as he opened the door.

"Trick or treat?" I said with a shy smile.

He put the candy in our bags and Josie and Rachel were just speechless.

"Have a good night," I said as we walked away.

"Aye, you too," he finished.

"Dude, holy shit. He was hot," Rachel said with a huge smile on her face.

"Hell yeah to that," Josie said.

"The way he said 'aye' was just like oh my god so sexy," Rachel said laughing. We all stood and looked at each other just smiling.

"Should we go back?" I asked jokingly.

"Yes oh my gosh," Josie fired back.

We rang the doorbell once again.

"Aye, you guys are back early," he said winking at me. Holy shit.

"Actually, we forgot to ask for your number," I said flirtatiously.

"My number?" he said with a smirk.

"Yeah, you know like one, two, three, four," Rachel said.

"Well I forgot to ask for your name," he said looking at me.

"Why don't we answer each others questions with some popcorn and a movie?" I asked with a flirty smile.

"I think we can do more than that," he said and invited us inside his wonderful home.
