Chapter 3: What Happened?

Maki instantly rushed to Ana's side once she heard that thud. Liz comes rushing into the room, "What was-" she turns silent once she sees Ana's body lying on the floor. Harper comes in and is shocked. Maki starts shaking a little, "O-ok, Nelson-san grab a blanket for Ana, Liz grab the keys. We need to get Ana to the nurse". Maki picks up Ana bridal style and rushes to the door. Liz behind her locks it and rushes to the car. "So, where are we going?" Harper asks, getting in shotgun. "School ground, to the nurse" Liz gets in the driver's seat. "Why not go straight to the hospital?", they all buckle their seatbelts. "The Medical Term, severe/sudden illness. If a student is suddenly sick while on school grounds, they must go to the nurse and they will decide if they need to go to hospital or not" Maki answers. Shortly after, they arrive on school grounds.

-Liz's POV-

As soon as I park the car, Maki rushes out with Ana. "Come one Harper! We don't want to lose her!" I shout running in with her trailing behind me. She catches up to me and we trail far behind Maki but enough to keep her in sight. "Togami-san sure is worried even if she doesn't show it physically" Harper says. "This place is nothing compared to the world known as Maki, she just needs a little push to reveal that world to us" I say. I remember I was trying to keep an eye on Maki, but I lost her. At least we know where she's going, she's already beat us there.

We both finally make it to the nurse's office. "Maki! There you are!", I notice it's pretty empty and silent in the infirmary. "The nurse is running a few tests to determine anything that's wrong" just as I was about to speak Nurse Bella comes in. "Hi girls, sorry I couldn't find anything that's wrong with her. I'm gonna need to send her to hospital, there they'll be able to find the problem" she tells us. Typical Ana, if something like this was supposed to happen to one of us, it would have to be her. "I can drive us there", Maki needs to go since quirkies need a family member with them cause they know their power. "Harper, you're coming with us. You don't exactly know where you're going" she nods. "Ok, I'll tell the hospital. I hope she's alright" we all take out leave.

-3rd Person POV-

The girls get back in the car and drive to the hospital. Maki takes Ana and enters the hospital. "Do you think she'll be alright Green-san?" Harper asks. "I hope it's nothing serious, but I don't know to be honest" Liz replies, "Since we're here, let's buy some food for you Harper". The girls drive off to the shops buying Harper the food she wants. They arrive back at the dorms and start to unpack. "Has Ana ever gotten sick like this in front of you?" Harper asks. "No, she's never acted like this before. Obviously, she's acted like this in front of Maki, them being cousins and all". A phone starts ringing, Liz goes to pick it up. "Oh?...Hey Maki!...What?...you want me to pick you both up...Yea I can do that...Bye!"

-Maki's POV-

I wait for Liz and Harper to show up. No way in hell am I getting in that car. "Hey Maki!...Why is Ana sitting on a bench well away from you?" Liz says. "You take that thing away in your car. I need to go collect some supplies and I'll make my own way home. She just has a bad fever", Liz just looks at me confused. "Ok?". I walk in the opposite direction, getting to a safe distance. Nelson-san is wearing a Koro-sensei face mask, I feel like I'm back home with her here. Why didn't I stock up earlier? I should've seen that coming. Huh? Oh, I already made it to the shop. I walk in and grab a trolley and get right to the cleaning supplies section. People who pass by look at me super confused. This is just what happens when you're from Japan and your cousin gets sick.

I take everything I need and head to the cashier. The employee stares at me weirdly. I pay for the stuff and leave but I put one of my face masks on. Ana always catches every illness know to man, and when she does that, she passes it on to me. No way in fucking hell am I having that happen to me again! I get my phone out and call Liz, "Where is she?...Just tell me. Ok see you later". I walk to the bus stop, the bus going nearest to Brochigh wouldn't be arriving in 30 minutes time. I was secretly happy, I wouldn't have to go near a bed-ridden Ana.
