Chapter 9: Music Club

-Liz's POV-

Ok, it may seem weird but we're back at school. "So, why are we back at school? I mean, we left it around an hour ago" Harper asks me, "Well, the school lets the teachers do anything they need to before holding the clubs and other stuff" I explain. "Yea it's stupid but no one argues with it, we deal with it as long as we get to have clubs" I add, she seems less confused. We're walking to the library, I'm gonna see what she knows and catch her up on anything vital if needed. "Here we are. Maki may have taken you near here but didn't take you in here" I open the door. "Oh my, this place is huge", she looks amazed "It's so cool! It seems like this place has any book you need". I smile, it's great she's enjoying her time here so far, "They can get any book you need for a small price. Whoever finishes first can go wait at a table while the other continues" she smiles and we separate.

I grab the last book and head over to the tables, I wave at Harper, I hope she wasn't waiting long. I place the books down and seat myself down, "Please don't tell me you were waiting long", "Oh no, I wasn't. I don't know my way round this place so I was looking for a certain book for quite some time, in fact I sat down three minutes ago". I sigh, thank God. "Alright, this is going to be long but we have to go through this for your sake". I start talking about some stuff and we keep going trying to find something she doesn't know. "Yea, I don't know about that", "It's fine, I'll help you".

-Time Skip-

Harper and I finished doing that a while back and now we're playing games on our laptops. Right now, we're playing chess against each other, "I will win against you, or fail but I will try to win". In one move I win the game. "I'll teach you how later, but for now we should leave, we're the only ones in the library now". We start to pack up and leave quickly. Nobody stays in the library for long, maybe for like less than half an hour, we stayed for an hour. We walk the long way put as we didn't know what to do next. We walk near the Music Department and hear someone playing. "Who's that playing, it's good and sounds familiar".

-Harper's POV-

"Who's that playing, it's good and sounds familiar" I say, "I don't know but it's good". We peek in and see, "What's Potter-san doing there?" Green-san looks in, "I think that's Maki playing". I peek in and see that it's her. "Since when could she play the piano?" Green-san shrugs her shoulders. "I think I know the song, it's, it's Fuyu no Hanashi" how did I not know this straight away? "Oh, the song from Given, where Mafuyu sings" I nod, "How do you know it?", "It's probably one of the only animes I'll be interested in. I watched part of it with Maki". Ok, I can talk about Given with Green-san. Why is Togami-chan playing such a sad song? It ends and Potter-san claps, "Nice one Maki, I didn't know you could play piano" Green-san says. I nod along to her statement and I see Togami-chan express emotion for the first time. She's embarrassed, "Nothing to be embarrassed about Togami-chan, it was really good" I smile. She gets up, "Yea whatever" she refuses to look at anyone. "Could we play anything if we know how to?" I ask. "Yea, you can if you want. The music teacher doesn't mind us having a play around with everything as long as we tidy it up at the end" she replies.

-Maki's POV-

Shit! Shit! Shit! Did I really just blush! God dammit Maki! Try and keep some composure, I knew someone was watching us. At least as it wasn't some stranger... or a barbie brat. I watch as the girls go off and grab some instruments and play. It's going to be a long day. I decide to ignore the girls and play something know on the piano. I get bored of it and play the violin and start Farmers Refuted, I notice Nelson-chan join in and keep going. "Wait Maki, can we play it?" Ana asks me and I nod handing her the violin I was using. We start and Nelson-chan tries to guess the song again. I sing so it might be easier for Nelson-chan to guess. "Your Lie in April!!!" I nod. "You have such a lovely voice Maki".
