Chapter 7.

1 year later.

Flashback from the 1995 march 5.

Alex pov:
Today is the day. I have to tell my friends. If I don't tell them they will found out somehow. My parents didn't know this. First I want to tell my friends. I don't want to keep it a secret anymore.
After school I will told them.

"Alex. Hey, you okay?" Luke whispered over to me.
"Yeah. Why?" I asked.
"Uhm, you seem distracted"
"I'm not. Okay? I'm fine."
"If you say." Luke said. But I know he didn't believed me.

Then I heard the bell and I run out.

"Alex. Wait. Why are you running?" Luke asked.
"Sorry. I don't know. I-"
"Okay. So what's wrong with you?"
"N- nothing."
"I don't believe you. " he said then he put his hand on my shoulder and we looked at each other.
"I have to tell you guys something after reherseal"
"Okay. But why after rehearsal?"

because i want to have a rehearsal with you guys before you kick me out of the band.
I was thinking to myself.

"Alex. Hey. I'm talking to you."
"Sorry Luke. I have to go. See you at rehearsal."
"Fine."

I'm already home. I'm going to change, and eat, then I'm going to the garage for rehearsal. I'm so nervous.

"Hey mom." I said walking in the house.
"Hey honey. How was school?"
"Oh it was good. Where is dad?"
"He's still at work. He will come at 20pm I think."
"Oh okay."
"Go change. Dinner is almost ready."
"Okay."

I have a bad feeling. I hope they will not be angry or something. I love my friends. They are like a second family.

"So, what are we eating?" I said walking downstairs.
"Spaghetti"
"Oh good."

I looked at the clock and I saw what time is. It's already 3 pm. I have to be at rehearsal at 3:30.

"Mom, I have to go. I will be late at rehearsal."
"Okay. But be careful. Love you."
"Love you too mom." I said while running out of the house.

"Oh. Look, it's Alex here." Luke said with a smile.
"Oh sorry. I'm late?"
"No. It's just 3:20. The boys aren't here yet."
"Okay" I said laughing.
"So..."
"So..." we looked at each other not knowing what to say. This never happened.
"This is weird." I said.
"What is weird?" He asked.
"Not knowing what to say. It's this hard to talk or what?" I said with a laugh and Luke laughed too.
"No. We talked so many times in a room. And you are acting weird since this morning."
"I don't know what are you talking about."
"You know."

"Hey guys." Reggie and Bobby said walking in the garage.
"Ready for rehearsal?" Bobby asked.
"Yeah." I said.

Then we started to rehears. After we ended I got up and I was ready to tell them.

"Guys. I have to tell you something. " I said.
",Okay Alex. Tell us." Bobby said.
"Yeah. I want to know since this morning." Luke said.
"I- I don't know how to say this."
"Just breathe and when you feel confortable you can tell us." Luke said.
"I'm... Uhm... I'm" i took a deep breath and I contiuned. "I'm gay."

Nobody said nothing. They just looked at me. Then I was going to my drums. To pick up my stuff then i felt someone hand on my shoulder.

"What do you think your doing?" I turned around and It was Luke.
"I- I thought you guys didn't want me anymore in the band."
"Alex. This is not just Reggie, Bobby and mines band. It's yours too. And besides we are like a second family." Luke said and then hugged me. Then Reggie and Bobby come to join the hug.

"Alex, we don't care who you love. If it's boy or girl. You love who you want." Reggie said smiling at me.
"Yeah man.. we love you from who you are. And we are like a family. This band brought us together. And we will never kick you out. Just like Luke said. This is not just Reggie, Luke and mines band. It's yours too."
"Guys. Thank you so much. This means a lot. I love you." I said with a smile.
"We love you too. No matter what" Reggie said.
"Yeah." Luke said.

"Your parents knows..?" Bobby asked.
"No. Not yet. I will tell them but I need more time. First I wanted to tell you guys.
And now I don't keep this secret from you anymore."
"We are happy that you told us." Luke said.
"Yes." Reggie said. And we comtiuned hugging.

After hours there I was going back home. I felt happy knowing that they are okay with this thing.

Luke pov:
Today, was the day when Alex told us that he likes guys. I don't know what is with me when I'm around Alex.
I love when he Smiles, when he laughs it makes me happy.
Oh my- maybe i like guys too? I don't know. When I'm with Alex I feel something in my heart. And never felt this before.

2021 may.

Luke pov:
Tonight we had a gig. It was great.
But after I had a flashback. Oh. I didn't wanted to have one tonight. But yeah.
Julie and I are dating now for 3 months.
Julie said in this month that she loves me.
Like, loves me.
And I didn't said it back. But she wasn't sad. Or something.

"LUKE."
"WHAT?"
"Why aren't you listening?"
"What Julie?"
"I told Reggie that we did great tonight."
"We always do great. " I said winking at her.
"Right" Reggie said smiling.
"Guys. Do you want to celebrare? Just the three of us. Cause Louis can't see you if you don't hold your instruments."
"Yeah. Right. Let's celebrare. But we gonna have pizza, right?" Reggie said.
"Yes. But you can eat? I didn't know."
"I don't know if I can eat but I hope so." Reggie said laughing , Julie was laughing too.
"Okay. Let's go babe." Julie said to me then I looked at her. And we walked home.

"You guys. What do you want to do now?" Julie asked.
"Maybe watch some movie?" I asked.
"I- this isn't celebrating." Julie said.
"But we didn't have to celebrare. Can we just sit on the couch, chill and watch a movie" I said.
"Okay." Reggie said.
"Fine." Julie said. "What movie do you want to watch?"
"Titanic maybe." I said.
"This is an old movie. And you want to cry?" Julie said.
"I never cry because of a movie." I said.
"Yeah. Sure" Julie said rolling her eyes.
"If you don't want to watch it, then we watch something else."
"Midnight sun or To All The boys I've Loved before?"
"Romantic movies? Really?" I said.
"Yeah. They are good."
"If you say."
"Reggie. Which one?
"I think now Midnight sun. Then we can watch tommorow the other" Reggie said.
"Okay."

Then Julie put the movie and her and I were cuddling on the couch. We kissed. And watched the movie. Then Julie felt asleep in my arms. It was 23:20 pm. And I wanted to sleep aswell, So I closed my eyes.
