They continued walking on the outskirts of Mantle, the snow being crushed under their feet. "So back home," Weiss asked, "You're a soldier? Like the Ace Ops?" "Sniper scout in the U.S. Marine Corp." he stated matter-of-factly. She smirked. "I'd like to think you'd fit right in with Atlas." He shrugged. "Eh, a little cold for my taste, plus I'd prefer not to run into any shadow monsters." "Batman told me you work in space," she said. John scowled. "Batman's a know-it-all." Before she could respond, more Grimm appeared up ahead, consisting of Beowolf's and Ursa's. They shook the ground as they stampeded towards our heroes. With a twirl of her saber, Weiss summoned her Arma Gigas. The giant rose from the ground, ready to fight.
"Showoff," John said.
He summoned his own Arma Gigas with his ring, only instead of swords its hands were replaced with M134 miniguns, and the shoulders had twin sniper rifles. "Payback time," he quiped. "Reference?" Weiss asked. "Predator. Great movie. Ready Heiress?" She smirked. "Yes soldier." Together they charged into battle. Weiss leapt into the air with elegance, swiping at Grimm with her saber as the Arma Gigas ran into the horde, swinging its giant sword at the Grimm below its feet.
