Power Rangers Dino Thunder: The Mystic Dino (On Hold)

Chapter 1: Day of the Mystic Dino Part 1

John's POV:
Uncle Tommy and I were outside the house training. He was teaching me a few things and I was improving every second. It was like my mind was supercharged with knowledge on how to fight and how to evade attacks as well. "Nice. You've gotten better in just two weeks. How've your classes been going? Besides mine that is." Tommy asked. 

"Good. Although, nobody has really gotten to know me. They all think I'm part of some kind of gang." I said as I wiped the sweat off my head as I put on a clean white shirt and my silver jacket, along with my necklace with an image of Quetzalcoatl. "Give it time. They'll warm up to you. Anyway, we better get to school before we're late." Tommy said as we got into his car and went off to school. 

Once we got there, I saw the three new Rangers that my uncle has been training and as promised he hasn't told them about me yet. "You really should tell them. They're good people John." Tommy said, "Maybe, but it's best if neither them nor you know who, knows about who I am just yet. Even with my training completed, I need to prove myself to let those three know I won't attack them." I said. 

"That was oddly specific." Tommy said as we walked to homeroom, "Had another vision last night. Some guy pretended to be our friend and ended up attacking us." I said. Once I took my seat the new yellow ranger, Kira Ford. "Morning everyone, welcome back to school. Now, before we get started, we have a new student joining us today. My nephew is staying with me while his parents are working with other environmentalists to help our world become healthier. John, why don't you introduce yourself to the class." Tommy said. 

I got up from my seat and walked up to my uncle. Everyone was surprised to see that I was his nephew, "Hey, I'm John Lee Scott. I transferred here from Angel Grove High, while my parents finish up their work. I like music, training, and motorbikes. I don't like people who think they're above everyone else, or people messing with those who can't stand up for themselves. So, don't mess with me, and we'll get along fine." I said. 

"Alright, any questions?" Tommy asked as a blonde haired girl raised her hand, and I could already tell she was trouble. "I'm Cassidy Cornell, Mr. Scott, are you by chance related to a Jason Lee Scott and Catherine Sutherland Scott?" she asked, "No comment." I said as I went back to my seat and Kira smiled at me and I winked at her.

Time Skip...

Tommy's POV:
Once school was over John went to his training area as the rangers and I went back to the HQ to train some more. "Dr. O, I didn't know you had a nephew." Conner said, "He's not really my nephew. His parents and I are old friends. So, he calls me Uncle." I said, "And does he know about you and his parents past?" Kira asked, "No, he doesn't. We wanted to keep that life away from him. But you never know what's around the corner." I said lying to them. 

I hate doing this, but I promised John that I would keep his involvement and his knowledge of me and his parents being rangers. As well as his knowledge of Kira, Conner, and Ethan being rangers as well. The alarm went off and a new monster arrived in the city, "Great, another one of Mesagog's monsters. But this one seems weird." Ethan said. 

"You're right Ethan. I'm picking up strange energy readings from this one. Wait, those features. He did it." I said, "What?" Conner asked, "Mesagog revived an ancient evil from 65 million years ago. A rival to the legendary Quetzalcoatl warrior." I said, "The who now?" Conner asked, "It's an old legend. It's said that once every 65 million years, a new warrior is chosen by the spirit of Quetzalcoatl. But you three need to get into the city while I locate the new warrior." I lied as they rangered up and left to fight the new monster. I got up and went to John's training area to get him to help the rangers. 

"John, where are you?" I asked, "Right behind you." John said as I turned around saw John, "John, don't do that. Also, the rangers need your help. Mesagog revived an ancient enemy of your power, the Quinterror. You need to ranger up." I said. "Alright, let's see if I have what it takes. Mystic Dino Ranger, Mystic Dino Power!" John said as he dawned the armor of the Quetzalcoatl warrior. "Good luck." I said, John nodded as he vanished to help the rangers.
