four. ON A VERY SPECIAL EPISODE PT. 1
"Kid, I'm gonna need another blood draw, and I'm gonna have to take another scan."
Atticus──who's real name turned out to be Phoenix, looked from Darcy, Monica, and Jimmy, then looked at the man who was coming up to him.
"Why, you already took about half of my blood supply," Phoenix said. "You're not getting anymore. And what's wrong with the scanning?"
Dacry furrowed her eyebrows and went up to the man, "Yeah, can I see them real quick?" She asked the man.
He simply nodded and handed her the ipad.
When Darcy looked at some of the pictures from the scanning, her eyebrows furrowed more and she had a confused frown on her face.
"And I thought Monica's were weird." She whispered to herself, "Hey, Phoenix, do you feel weird by any chance. Like there's something in your stomach?" She asked with a concerned voice.
Phoenix shrugged as he took the ipad from Dacry, "Not that I know of──what the actual hell is that?! Am I gonna die?" He dramatically spoke before looking up at the doctor.
The man shook his head. "I highly doubt it, kid. Something just seems to be off with your body right now. I-It's kinda like puberty but more . . . deadly."
"Okay . . . I understand the pictures, but what does my blood have to do with this?"
The doctor put his hand in his left pocket and pulled something out and handed it to Phoenix. "Here you go. It looks like something happened to your cells as well."
The sixteen year old boy grabbed the vial from his hand and quietly inspected it.
Inside of the vial was blood of course, but it wasn't normal blood. The blood was slowly losing the red color and had little green specks in it.
He finally pulled his eyes away from the vial, and looked at the doctor, "But it was fine when you took it. What happened?"
The doctor simply shrugged and took the blood vial from his hand. "You tell me kid. I just need like four more vials for testing, can you──"
