Trickling down the town of South Park was warm sunshine. Although covered by clouds, the sun's luster fought its way through and so, beams of light drowned the town. A grey Honda Civic, parked right in front of Token's garage, was one of the many victims to the morning sunlight. With one hit to the vehicle's rear mirrors, a gloomy spot brighten up, revealing the figures of two best friends.

Kyle had already made up his mind after taking a hold of Stan's hand. Butters coerced move did a number on Kyle but he should've known he'd regret his impulsiveness. Taking in the fact his best friend was about to hear some, to say the least, interesting news gave him jitters. Not only that, he was still stuck with his stupid disguise; already giving the Jew an idea about how Stan knew he lied.

"Uh, Kyle? Why did you bring me over here?" Although lacking a transparent, comforting tone, Broflovski found his voice to be soothing like always. Stan never failed in checking up on him.

"Yeah, I'm fine." The restlessness was just near to seeping in. "I wanted to confirm a few things."

Stan had the same thing in mind. "Ok, dude."

It was easy for Butters to say that the ginger shouldn't feel ashamed for asking a curious question. Yet, no matter how Kyle phrased it, he still felt like a prying weirdo. Then again, would it really hurt to ask? "...did you and Wendy go to Tweak Bros. on the day we were suppose to study?"

Pair of eyes glanced at him, "...yeah?" and an eyebrow was quick to raise. Last time Stan checked, he and Wendy were alone in that shop.

"And um-" His dry throat choked up his words. "did you two...kiss?" Briefly after asking, Kyle mocked himself in his head. Asking someone something as intimate as kisses with slight immaturity only warranted the image of him still a remaining 6 year old. Someone so young and naive, they believed cooties originated from lip to lip contact.

"We did, yeah." Their contrasting tones was so conspicuous. Stan; mainly carefree while Kyle sounded like a damn stalker!

Popping up every now and then, the invading question could not past his quivering lips. That sentence alone refused any way out and Kyle did not have anymore strength to shamefully ask.  So a sudden urge began to grow in just a millisecond and the idea of giving up sounded great. "Oh cool. That's all I wanted to know. Thanks, man." He would've gotten away if Stan wasn't in his way.

"Wait, now hold on, dude. You can't just leave me hanging like that." Curiosity-filled eyes framed his tired gaze but Kyle would not give in.  "The hell? Were you stalking us?" Stan asked with either confused or upset eyes.

Kyle tried not to take offense to that. "No! Just forget it, man! This is stupid!" Slowly, he backed away from his best friend and the thought of booking it was tempting.

Every time Kyle strayed further away, Stan's fear of losing him recouped. Out of all the people in this shitty town, he can never imagine a life without him. They grew up together, it would hurt to see him slip away so easily after everything they've been through. Firmly, he grabbed both of Kyle's upper arms in frustration; wondering why he hates his presence now. "Please, tell me. I want to know."

The swelling feeling in his heart appeared and Kyle believed this was the first time he felt heartache. The unruly timing of his beating heart was caused by Stan's alarmed and concerned look. Right off the bat, he can see the affliction behind Stan's guilty eyes. An expression that dwelled upon what was wrong with Kyle.

One long sigh and his breath was visible to him. It reminded him of foggy mornings when, as a kid, he'd imagine he was a fire breathing dragon.

A hand dragged down his face as shame tickled his throat, as if forcing him to spit it out. "Fine." He said with nothing but vexation. "Are you and Wendy dating again?" This time, all the nerve-wracking was left behind and he entailed a face that helped him to brace this impact. Soon, he'd find out that wasn't needed.
