chapter one: a place? (beth prov)

                I ran along the side of Daryl. We ran into the woods. I tripped over a walker that was cut in half. "Ah Daryl!" I said scared as there was a group of walkers behind us. Daryl stomped onto the head of the walker. The group started to get closer. "We have to go." Daryl said. I looked back and seen the prison and it was over runned. "But Maggie." I said wanting to go back. Daryl started to shot some of the group that was behind us. "Beth." He said. I looked away from the prison as I ran past Daryl. We started to jog. Daryl and I looked back as we lost the group of walkers. We took a break. I seen a wall boarded. "Daryl?" I asked him. He looked at me as he grunted. "ill go first." he said. I looked at him. "I can do it." I said. He looked back at me as he held up his crossbow. "Daryl I can." I said. He started to jog up the wall. I walked and ran past him. We both were leaning against it. I seen through a crack a bunch of houses. "houses. we might be able to clear one out a night here." I said. I looked at Daryl.

        Daryl looked down at me. "we wont stay forever we have to keep going." he said. i shock my head. he and i went around the corner of the wall. it looked safe. you can tell people made this a camp. it looked rundown. "they look like shit." Daryl said. "well so far i don't see any walkers." i said. he grunted. i looked at the houses. "i think we should choose a house on one of the edges so that way we can get out of this camp fast." i suggested. Daryl shock his head. i walked to the house on the edge of the left side of the street.

        i banged on the side of the door and waited. Daryl had his crossbow up. nothing came out of the house. i walked in it seemed so clean. "maybe people cleaned it and no one has touched it." i said. Daryl looked around. "yeah. well ill board up this door at least for now alright." Daryl said. i looked at him and walked into the living area. there was a broken TV and no radio. i looked and seen the kitchen. i walked near ti with my fingers crossed. i walked toward the kitchen. i was just about to open the covers.
