Everybody went to the princes' bedroom, and Hugo was relieved to see Sofia safe and sound. "Oh, Sofia, are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine," said Sofia.

"Oh, that's good," said Axel. "What a relief, and who's your friend, little princess?"

A servant kindly removed Mulan's jacket and scarf, and everybody was surprised to see her face.

"You got Fa Mulan to help you?" Miranda asked.

"Mulan, thank you so much for helping Sofia," said Roland.

"It's nothing," said Mulan.

"It was something," said Hugo. "She would've been stuck out there if it wasn't for you."

Dr. Valentine carefully examined Hugo's ankle, and the sun was setting. Then the snow started falling faster. Dr. Valentine carefully wrapped up Hugo's ankle.

"Well, Hugo just has a minor fracture," said Dr. Valentine. "It's nothing serious. He should be walking around on his feet in about two weeks."

Hugo was relieved that his injury was treated immediately.

Everybody was in the parlor.

"Wow, that snow is falling fast," said Miranda.

"It looks like I'm stuck here until tomorrow," said Dr. Valentine.

"I guess I'm stuck here too because I have to help you get to the office," said Mulan.

"Sofia got here just in time," said Hugo. "If she had been out there right now, she herself could've been hurt."

"I still can't believe she got here through the snowy weather before it got heavy," said Amber.

Everybody was happy that Sofia was okay. "It was pretty foolish of me to leave the palace like that because of the weather," said Sofia, feeling embarrassed.

"Oh, Sofia, you left the palace because you wanted to do a good thing for your friend," Mulan said. "Sometimes we all have to take foolish risks just to do something good for somebody—even if it means making a sacrifice."

"Have you ever done something like that, Mulan?" Axel asked.

Mulan smiled and said, "Oh, yes, I did. I remember when the Huns were invading China, and I knew for sure that my father wouldn't survive another battle."

"What did you do?" asked Sofia.

"I put on my father's armor, disguised myself as a man, and took his place in the army," said Mulan. "My disguise really worked until they found out my true identity."

The younger princes and princesses were surprised at this.

"What happened?" asked Hugo.

"I wound up bringing Shan-Yu down, and I saved China," said Mulan with a smile.

Everybody was amazed.

"Sometimes doing something foolish can result in something good for everybody," said Mulan. "We just have to be tougher than the problem. That's exactly what Sofia did when she brought Dr. Valentine here." She started to sing a special song to encourage the royals.
