Elsa finally returned from Atohallan after exploring it some more, making sure she didn't go to far again. She smiled as some Northuldra ran over to greet her, Nokk wined in protest of the crowd forming. "It's alright Nokk." Elsa cooed, soothing his nerves. As soon as Elsa got off of Nokk she was tackled by little children, Elsa landed on her butt and giggled at the little beasts. They played with her hair, and awed at her dress. Elsa reached up and stroked Nokks neck signaling that he could go, Nokk bowed and disappeared into the water.
"Children, come now. Give Elsa some space." Elsa looked up to Yelena, smirking at her. The kids frowned and got off of her, running away to their parents. The blonde wiped off her pants as she stood up, "They seem to like you." A familiar voice said. Elsa grinned and looked at Honeymaren standing next to Yelena, "Yes, I'm used to being tackled though. I do have an energetic younger sister." Elsa spoke.
"Come, you need food and rest." Yelena said. Elsa nodded and followed Yelena and Honeymaren to the camp, waving back at the Northuldra that passed by. Yelena glanced at Elsa and then Honeymaren, "Maren, is it alright if Elsa stays with you tonight?" The Northuldra chief asked. "Oh! I don't want to impose. I can sleep outside." Elsa said. Honeymaren gasped and looked at Elsa, "You would sleep outside instead of with me? I'm hurt Elsa, deeply." Honeymaren said, putting her hand over her heart.
Yelena shook her head, trying to hide her smile. Elsa grinned and spoke, "Well if you want me to sleep with you that badly I suppose it wouldn't hurt." Honeymaren laughed and playfully shoved the blonde, getting one back. "Alright enough flirting, Maren help Elsa get settled in." Yelena said, smirking as she walked away. The two girls froze and glanced at each other, "Now now Elsa, you mustn't flirt with a woman who is sharing her bed with you." Honeymaren said. Elsa grinned and followed her to a wooden tent.
Honeymaren opened the door and stepped aside, "After you, your majesty." Honeymaren spoke. Elsa bowed, "Thank you." She said, stepping inside. Honeymaren came in after her and closed the door, "Wow. It's alluring." Elsa awed. Honeymaren chuckled and walked over to the fire, throwing some more wood in. Elsa glanced at the bed and back at Honeymaren, "You know. I can always sleep on the floor." Elsa said.
Honeymaren turned around and looked at Elsa, "But who am I going to cuddle with? My pillow?" Honeymaren pouted. Elsa giggled, and thought for a few seconds. "Well you can always grab a reindeer." Elsa spoke, smirking. Honeymaren gasped, "Last time I did that I got a hoof to the stomach." Elsa snickered, and sat down on the bed. "Oh wow. This is quite comfy." Elsa said. Honeymaren walked over and sat down beside her, "I bet the castle ones are even comfier, yes?" Honeymaren asked.
Elsa shrugged, and sighed. "Miss Anna already?" Honeymaren asked. Elsa nodded, and felt her stomach grumble. Honeymaren laughed and patted Elsa's belly, "Come on, let's get that some food before it's someone." Elsa laughed at Honeymarens words and followed her out. She stopped seeing Honeymaren stare at the sky and it's colour, "The suns setting." Elsa spoke. Honeymaren looked at her and smiled softly, "Why is the sky orange?" She asked. Elsa smiled and responded to the Northuldra girl, "The molecules in the atmosphere scatter creating a different direction of light rays."
Honeymaren slowly turned her head to Elsa giving her the most adorable confused face ever, "I'll explain it better later. Oh! Promise me you won't look at the sky until I say so." Elsa asked. "Why?" Honeymaren asked back. "I have something to show you." Elsa replied. Honeymaren grinned and nodded, taking Elsa's hand guiding her toward the rest of the Northuldra.
"Maren! Do you see the sky! It's orange! How is that even possible!" Ryder squealed, upon seeing his sister and Elsa. The two girls sat down next to him and looked at each other, "Tell him." Honeymaren laughed. Elsa sighed and smiled a bit, "Tell me please. Please Elsa." Ryder begged. The rest of Northuldra grew quiet, wanting to hear. "Well, the molecules in the atmosphere scatter creating a different direction of light waves." Ryder looked puzzled and murmured to himself.
