Rabadash's warning echoes throughout my sleeping chamber. I have to follow him or he kills Elvira.

But before I can get out of bed, the wooden door flies open. Caspian stands with his sword drawn. His eyes are dark and his mouth is a line. I can hear him breathing heavily when he enters my room.

'Where is he!' It's not a question, his eyes look around searchingly.

'He, he--,' but my mind fails me as I fall down on my bed once again. Rabadash and his voice are gone. My mind is for free again for a moment. Free of his haunting voice and spirit.

Caspian puts his sword back in its sheath. Quickly he strolls towards my bed and without words, he sits down. He slides across the bed so that he can take me in his arms. I sit up, my cheeks burning as he folds his strong arms around me.

'Susan, it haunts me. What Elvira said at Aslan's how,' he quietly says after a couple of seconds.

I swallow audibly and Caspian finds my hand. He squeezes it.

'Susan. I'm so glad you're back.' He swallows and raises his other hand. He stops at my face and brushes away a few hairs, his hand running down my forehead, down my cheek and then to my chin. He brings my face closer to his and his lips float over mine. Suddenly I see his face, the old and the new.

And I know. I have to tell him. To tell them.

'Alright.' I sigh deeply and squeeze his hand this time.

'He raped you?' Caspian mutters the words he fears.

By the mane, he doesn't wait, does he? I shiver as I inhale some air. 'Yes, he did. He did it twice. One time in the golden age, but only Edmund knew that. Later I told Peter and Lucy about it because the guilt was too hard to bear alone.'

Caspian's hold on me becomes tighter and I hear him growl.

'It was,' a heavy voice says. I look towards my door and there they stand. My siblings, my protectors, my rocks. My everything in this world and beyond. Lucy her hair is loose and by the way they are dressed I know now that it is night. They are all dressed in their nightgowns.

Now I look at Caspian, he is still dressed in his light blue tunic and his black trousers. Even his boots are still one. It is as if he can read the question from my mind.

'Salvador and I were trying to track Elvira, but her trace disappeared in the Lantern woods,' he says soothingly.

Lucy crawls on the bed next to me and Peter and Edmund each pick a side on the end of my bed.

'But what did you do?' Caspian looks at Peter and Edmund. 'What did you do when you knew your sister was raped? Didn't you declare war on him?'

Peter laughs angrily. 'I wanted to tear him apart, for what he did to Susan. To the pain he caused her and still does.' His blue eyes look at me, full with pain and love.

I try to swallow the upcoming tears away but this is family. These are the one I love, so I let them fall.

'Susan,' Lucy cries next to me, it is also her fear. Because Rabadash wanted her too. Mostly because he couldn't get to me. But he had me. He had all of me. And they know it for sure, but I still have to say it.

'You will get your change, Pete,' I say, my voice hoarse from the tears. The look Peter gives me is just scary, haunting even.

'You mean...' He growls like a wild animal.
