They were running around aimlessly in the elegant castle like building.
The scotch mist white mossy bricks looking as if they have not been touched in years; vines trapped in the building.
It seemed as if no one has lived there or has been there in a long period of time, was it abandoned? No sounds of birds outside. "strange" was all they were thinking.
The unnerving feeling it gave scared them to the bone, they let out a shaky breath from all the exploring.
The only source of light seemed to be from these elegant windows scattered around; whoever lived there sure did not like darkness.
The figure walked to one of the reflective surfaces, when they looked out all they were expecting to see land for as far as they could see but all they saw was their blood red eyes with cotton swirls of forest green.
Panicked they shut their eyes and stumbled backwards pain shot through their body, but they dismissed it, trying to find anything to let them catch their breath.
only to be met with a hard surface.
They were not near any walls though. opening their eyes slowly, making sure there were no dangers.
When their eyes were open halfway they were met with a blade pointed right in their face.
They were staring at the sharp object as if it couldn't hurt a fly.
"heeeehhh?"
"I advise that you stand up with your hands in the air". The man spoke again after getting no noise out of the person who stood infront of him.
No response. They were so mesmerised by their reflection In the sword to care about the man.
"NOW" exclaimed the armoured man.
They knew that this man was dangerous; they would obey until it got too risky since they were unarmed.
The shorter of the two stood up slowly only making sound when they stretched their back, the sound a yelp of pain. Yet still mesmerised by the blade pointed at their chest.
"You are hurt aren't you?"
Ignoring his question they turned around and began walking with the man behind them. They were hoping to find shelter soon. Exhausted from moving; but they couldn't let their guard down.
The younger only lifted their head at the question.
The looked at the man, his hair a braided candy pink. It was long yet uneven.
Looking back to his face, they noticed the skull of some sort of omnivore.
Tusks protruding out of the skull. It fascinated them. Looking to his face shape, he was handsome but he also threatened you with a blade; it was obvious he was skilled with it.
"who are you?" their voice filled with curiosity yet still raspy from not talking in such a long time.
"You tell me first" The voice said from behind.
"how about I will tell you who I am when we get inside, its far too dark out." They tried to reason with the man.
"Sure, don't make and sudden movements though. I won't hesitate to kill you" The man threatened by poking his sword in their back. They knew that was a lie, An empty threat.
Not long after the sun went down, they arrived at a hill with a door in it.
It was more of a hobbit hole.
Noticing you stop the man poked you with the back of his sword and spoke.
"go on then, there's light in there."
They let out a shaky breath and opened the wooden door.
Their nerves were sky rocketing. This didn't feel right, the inside merely a shack. They looked around; chests. Good, easy to rob when they're in the open.
Looking straight they saw an uneven covered wall with light shining through, A secret passage.
They obviously weren't meant to see it so they put on a calm face.
They heard the sound of the blade being sheathed, it made them feel a little better yet they were still exhausted. The cuts on their back didn't help, with every movement of their body the cuts would touch their clothing. They couldn't show their pain to the man so they muffled the sounds threatening to release from their throat. Deciding that the man has been quiet for long enough, they turned.
" hello" they said to the man watching their every move, trying to find out if they were a threat or not. They knew he was smart so they kept their body language loose, trying to make it seem as they were nothing but a normal human; of course they weren't but he doesn't know that.
"Blade!" An irritating voice shouted down from the secret passage.
They raised an eyebrow to the man named 'blade' and stifled a laugh.
It was obvious he was annoyed by the voice, he didn't want me to know of the other boy in the hobbit hut.
Hearing footsteps from behind you, it was most likely the boy.
"Who the fuck is that!" he asks 'blade'.
"This someone I found outside of your old country." Blade says pointing to them.
Before turning around they gave 'blade' a look with a glint in their eyes.
Once they were fully turned they looked at the boy; who of course was taller then them. His dirty blonde hair covered by an old red beanie that seemed far to big for his head. His eyes as blue as the sea. He didn't seem older then 'blade' though, them assumed he was 'blades' brother.
"L'manberg, They could be a spy! Why would you bring them here?" he asks 'blade'
They were still looking at the boy a few feet away from them. Ignoring his questions they asked curiosity laced in their tone "What is L'hanberg?"
"See, they cant be a spy if they don't even know of the place" 'Blade' responds to his question.
They were zoned out from the rest of the conversation, all they were thinking about was an escape plan. Walking over to the boy he finally notices their presence But of course they didn't care of the human, just the passage behind him.
Stepping toward him once more, he says " Yo blade cant you control them or something, they're freaking me out man."
Hearing steps from the passage once more they divert their attention on it, living their arm up they shriek in pain. Looking at their arm they see the same blade the man was wear plunged in their arm.
They reached for the blade in their arm, getting a tight grip on it they pull it from their arm. Of course the steps from the passage become more rushed.
"Tommy! Are you alright?"
"Tommy?" he repeats until he come from the passage, A gasp comes from his mouth. Their hold on the blade loosens causing the mans attention to go on them.
"Oh my god, are you alright?" he asks as he begins walking towards them.
A grunt leaves their mouth in response, their vison begins to darken.
The last thing they heard was muffled yells trying to catch them.

notes
I am aware the 'bumping into a hard surface' scenario is quite common and dumb, but I honestly had no other idea how to approach this, I apologise if this is very cringe.
