Chapter 8: It's...Me?!

The Truth

"*Gasp*!" I gasp heavily.
What kind of dream was that!

It took me about a minute for me to realize that I'm still in an unknown area, but rather then before, i now could see the surrounding because of the bright moonlight. I was here when it's about 8:00 pm right? Seems like it's already midnight ...

Good thing I didn't disappeared too long!(Not!)

I don't know what I was thinking running off like a child before. I couldn't take advantage of their strange behavior. Ah, I really regret it.

I walk around, see if I could catch a sight glimpse of the mansion, since it's really big and tall i thought i won't have any problem doing so. But.......even the tallest part of the building is nowhere to be seen... Screw it; I'm lost.

Surprisingly, i didn't even feel the slightest panic. Maybe it's best that i didn't come back. The future that's waiting for me is doom anyway.

But still...i can't just run away without carrying any money!! What could I do with my life?! I didn't have any other capability other then acting and singing, and with a body of a 9 years old wondering out without even have knowledge about the world is same as if courting death!!

Let's just try to find my way back..

I continue to walk helplessly. For the first time, I really miss that gigantic castle.. big, tall, long and organized, stand proudly with honor.

I close my eyes remembering the mansion structure, because of that I didn't pay attention to my way, my pinky toe accidentally stumble something hard. Again, i didn't feel quite much pain, i solemnly watch the thing i hit fall to the side.

Because it's not really super dark, i could see that i stumble a flower pot. I don't know how did a flower pot got in the forest, but i still move to fixed it.  After that i walk away while hummy a song, my eyes shrunk after i see a big gigantic building stand straight infront of me. I blink, thinking maybe i hallucinate things, but I'm not.. did i just magically appear at my wanted destination again?

I know that i didn't even see a single trace of them before. I slowly walk inside, i wasn't really familiar with the place, but i know that it wasn't supposed to be this empty, along the way their supposed to be servant stand line up. I start to consider the thought that I enter the wrong place.

"M'lady!" I turn to look at the owner of the voice. It was the butler.

I smile in return, "Where are the other?" I scratch my head while asking with my usual childish tone. I sigh in realief. I'm not mistaken, this is the Main Mansion.

The butler smile and said, "Please follow me, MiLady." It's actually the first time he smile to me, and but...for some reason, i have bad feeling about it.

But i follow him either way, we were walking on the long and big hallway's. For a few minutes the path slowly get darker and darker, the window are mostly shut close. My bad gut feeling getting bigger and bigger, cold sweats are running down my neck.

When I saw another hallway in the left in front of the hallway we were walking, i already made up my mind. I purposely walk a little slower then before, and when the butler is already 2-3 step away from me and the hallway, i turn 160° and run as fast as I can.

Though i run like my life depends on it, I'm currently only a 9 years old girl, me, manage to run without heavily gasp all the time is already a miracle!
