"I'm fine. It's a stroll in the garden, there's nothing wrong or dangerous about that!" Merrie smile slowling fumble down.
"No, the last time we let you out you nearly died!" Ladia face was full of anxiousness and worry. Her was face was wrinkly because of over thinking.
Merrie really wanted to correct her that she didn't "nearly died", but she didn't have the heart to do so when looking at her face.
"I shouldn't have let you out without supervision, it's all my fault." Said Allen with a sad face. His complex didn't look good neither.
"No it's not your fault, dear." Ladia said gently as she put a hand on his back.
Merrie felt guilty looking at the two worried and exhausted face. It was yesterday that she suddenly passed out, got the imperial medical involve and the result was she's fine. But it didn't convinced the two to not worry and stay up all night to find out the reason.
Merrie give up on the idea and manage to convinced her parents to take a few rest. She was disappointed they take a different idea of "rest" to "working".
While feeling helpless on her parents, she walk to Liam.
"Are you good? Are you really really good???" Liam said, it was the third time asked. The first time was exaggerating, the second time was casual and the current one being honestly annoying.
"I'm fine. You don't have to be so worry about me." Merrie said with a smile. She took a sip on the green tea.
"Worry? I'm not, i was just asking." Liam back away immediately.
Merrie give Liam a look that said she's not buying it. "You do."
Liam roll his eyes with a smile, "Think what you like."
Merrie chuckled. "Yes, yes I will." Her eyes drifted to the cookie on the table, "Who make that?" she point at the cookie.
"Oh.... This... my sister and i both make them." Liam said. She might've imagining things but he looked a bit disappointed.
"Why don't you give me a share? I love your homemade cookie! They're delicious." Merrie make her voice sound optimistic to cheer up Liam sour face.
Apparently, it didn't work the way she wanted it, it may had make it worse. Liam look more sad as he said, "Milady, we make it for you actually."
Merrie was a bit surprised, "Really? Why don't give it to me then?"
"We try yesterday and before yesterday. But you're either seem distracted with your thoughts and ended up ignoring us, or just inside your room." Liam continue, "Lisya was excited to give it to you-" his words stop when he glance at Merrie face that was fill with guilt.
"Of course she don't blame you, neither do I! We know it was important for you- not sure if you're a fan of the saintess or something. And it's not like the cookie went to waste or something, I took the liberty to eat the wasted cookie." Liam try to convinced her with a smile.
"I-I'm sorry!!!" She said with a face that almost cry. "It was the first time the two of you do something together in almost two year and i didn't eat the cookie you both made together!!!"
She quickly take a piece of round cookie and take a big bite, it was cold and hard, the texture was soft because was left for a night, but the taste was good. Merrie finished the whole plate and not wasting a single cookie.
"I want to see Lisya. I need to apologise to her!" Merrie continue, "Now that i mentioned it, i haven't seen Lisya ever since last night. Where is she?"
"You really don't have to apologise. To answer you question, her break cut short and she have to return to the Silver Knight field or something. Though she actually didn't listen when she was called back yesterday so, she's in trouble." Said Liam
