Two weeks and many many practice matches and testing out new combos and skills. It was finally time for the spring nationals. Taki had made everyone her good luck cinnamon rolls again and this time Hinata and Kageyama got to enjoy them too. She thought Kageyama was going to choke from how quickly he had scarfed it down.

Some of the boys were napping and trying to get in some extra energy before the tournament. Taki was in her own little world looking out the window listening to her music. Her imagination being as wild as it is she was actually imagining a fight scene taking place in the scenery outside her window. She didn't know why she but it was just something she's always done.

Suga looked over at her, her hair was in braided buns and in the reflection her pupils looked dilated. Which meant she was spacing out again, she seemed to do that allot. Suga smiled and shook his head and moved the headphone off of her ear breaking her from her trance.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked trying to make a conversation "Nervous for your first official game?" he was kind of afraid of a repeat of Hinata.

"Huh?" She blinked a few times trying to revive her dried contacts, "Oh I was imagining a battle scene that matched my music, I'm not really nervous at all I'm pretty excited." She rubbed the back of her neck, she was actually pretty embarrassed someone caught her zoning out.

"Oh it must have been pretty intense," He smiled he thought it was pretty cute she was still like a kid "Well I'm glad you aren't freaking out." His mom mode was activated.

"Yeah I always listen to old rock and roll music, it sounds dumb but it always helps me feel relaxed." she smiled and took out her earbuds and offered one to Suga.

He smiled and took the headphone waiting for the music to play and it was definitely not what he was expecting. Hail to The King started blasting in the earbuds, but it was in English. He understood it for the most part but the most it was the melody of the music was so rough and seemed angry.

He tried not to show the shock on his face but it didn't seem to be working well, even Daichi and Asahi were looking at him funny. She just didn't seem like the type of girl who would listen to that kind of music, he expected it from people more like Tanaka.

He shook his head at the guys but then his ears picked up another sound, she was actually humming along perfectly to the music she knew every word. It sounded much better coming from her though. She was back to looking out the window bobbing her head side to side with the rhythm of the music in a minimal kind of dance. She was definitely not like anyone they've met before and it was refreshing.

Time Skip~~~~

Everyone started unloading the bus making sure they had all of their equipment and bags before heading to the main gym. Yachi, Kiyoko and Taki were setting up the banner while the boys made sure all of out stuff was settled so nothing would get stolen.

"Wow there is so many more teams here!" Taki said looking at all the banners and the different colored uniforms running all around the gym. It's like an ADHD rainbow.

"That's right you weren't here for our first tournament," Noya said after changing into his uniform.

"Which means we have the element of surprise again." Coach Ukai said as he came up with the schedule for the tournament.

It looked like they were up against the yellow team who was stretching on the court, they all kind of looked like Hinata. Super energetic and kind of working on instinct, which was both good and dangerous. They all new how dangerous Hinata can be on the court when he is in the zone.

We had some time to spare before the game had started so everyone was changing into their uniforms. Hinata had ventured off mumbling something about the bathroom. Taki changed out of her court shoes and decided she should probably use the bathroom too just in case, better safe than sorry.
